About This Item

Made in Canada using food-grade, cage-free chicken as the single source of protein.
The limited ingredient, pea and legume-free recipe is ideal for cats with food sensitivities.
Can be fed on its own or as a complement to dry food.
Has a smooth, whipped pate texture that can be easily turned into a gravy with added moisture.

Transition Instructions

Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.

Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

Reasons? 1.it smells good to humans 2.it looks good to humans 3.it is trusted by humans 4.your cats will never act the same again My babies scarfed this stuff down, they kinda had a hard time doing so because it is pate so i suggest if your cat isn’t used to pate to get the shredded (which i will be doing next) Never will i stop buying this wet food! First mates is awesome!

LID with mostly Protein and NO Seed Oils

My 15 year old is doing really well on this and enjoys the flavor. Mostly protein based and I love that it doesn't contain seed oils which are inflammatory.
