Knowing these are free run chicken...are they antibiotic and hormone free? How is their diet?

The Free Run chickens in this formula are sourced locally in British Columbia. They are raised without added hormones, though they are given antibiotics after they hatch to prevent disease. The chicken are raised on a diet of grains.
Will this food help with the prevention of struvite bladder stones?

Are they yellow, white or sweet potatoes?

Their products have always contained a mix of Burbank and Norkotah potatoes. These are the same potatoes used for human consumption and are primarily sourced from Idaho.
Does this recipe contain any naturally occurring Chondroitin or Glucosamine ? If so, how many milligrams of each per can?

There is a small amount of naturally occurring glucosamine and chondroitin in FirstMate canned formulas, however the amount has not been tested.

Working well for old dog

Working well for my 16 year old pomeranian with acid reflux, it took a lot of trial and error but this one is working and it's a good company.

Our Dog Approved

Bought some of the canned food due to a shortage of the kibble in the same flavor, to mix with my allergy ridden dog's kibble to hopefully stretch it out until more kibble is available. That said, he's handled it perfectly well from an allergy standpoint, and he loves it. He's never been a dog to be eager to eat, but he is always excited to have his FirstMate LTD Ingredient chicken and potato! This fact is something of a point of amazement for this 4 year old Schnauzer! Please don't change the formula. It is truly limited ingredient, which makes it perfect for dogs allergic to nearly everything else.

my cat loves it I just wish it was in smaller cans

My cat loves this food when it’s fresh out of the can but after a couple of days in the fridge she won’t eat it. Just wish they had a smaller can option

Great food

Love this brand does not have a bunch of fillers like peas, corn etc. I am picky about my dogs food. I have 2 yorkies with no teeth that eat the canned. My Golden Retriever eats the dry food.

Picky Shih-Poo

First Mate is a hit with my 10lb. dog. Wish they had more variety. It has broth on top of the food but you can shake it before opening and then stirring it up a little when you open it. She likes it cold so when she finishes one can I refrigerate the next can and shake before I refrigerate it. Don't know how many people know this but the dog and cat formula are the same. I buy the cat formula for my dog since she's small. No waste!!!!

I have a 13 year old shorkie who has a sensitive stomach and skin allergies. He loves this food and he is doing great!! I highly recommend this food!

17 year old terrier

He wasn’t getting enough fluid and this product really fit the bill. He is still bright eyed and enjoying life.

GSD with digestive issues seems to doing OK on this food.

The food seems to be better quality than most canned foods we've used before. Not sure yet.
