Flexi Classic Nylon Cord Retractable Dog Leash

I got this less than two weeks ago and it is already broken. I have a small Pomeranian maybe 12# wet. I also walk with a cane so he is not pulling me. The cord snapped. I thought since this product was made in Germany it would last longer, I was wrong. I sent an email to customer service asking for a refund or an exchange, haven't hear back. I would like to receive credit to get a different type of retractable, maybe a strap kind. Do buy this retractable leash. It is poorly made.

Pros: awesome long length, quick retraction, doesnt allow her to pull out any extra leash no matter how hard she pulls Cons: after a few weeks of multiple times daily use, it feels like it gets “stuck” in a couple of spots and has a hard time going out or pulling line in, in those spots. Still a good little leash and we’ll definitely repurchase it when it inevitably breaks.

My last retractable leash was wonderful with the nylon cord but it had served it time . When i went to buy a new one all I could find were the retractable cloth ones which were horrible always getting twisted and would not retract very fast, I was very happy when I found the Flexi Classic Nylon cord worked just like my old one did.

Our 80+ lb. rescue dog absolutely needs this leash, but it's at least our fourth one; if my husband stops to speak with anyone, he can bite through this leash in less than a minute. He's not a vicious animal by any means, but he can "face plant "me within 20 seconds in the community where we currently live.

the best longest, lightest, compact and durable leash for small pets i have ever owned. my dog loves it i love it. it is long enough that he can run around at his pace and check out all the smells and i can casually walk at my own pace. the tension is so minimal that he has total freedom. have had shorter leashes that would retract much firmer i felt like it was choking him if he pulled to hard. Pretty much had the previous version of this leash and wore it completely out. took forever to find another like it. Ended up on chewy and found the exact same brand but the newest version. My little guy is my life so thank you very much, even she smallest details can make the biggest differences. Walk my dog twice a day; last leash just stopped retracting. Since I was on my walk I wasn't very happy. Wanted the rope-type rather than the flat tape type. Plus the handle is a good size to hold on to. Some of the smaller leashes have handles that are too small to hold.

Have had a number of flexi leashes thur the years. If u take care of them u can have them for a number of years. If the cord or tape gets wet u don't retrack the cord or tape. Let it dry out first. And yes. I was dum & learned the hard way. Just got a new flexi leash, had it less then a week, and jammed & wouldn't retrack. Tried everything to get it to retrack, but wouldn't. Chewy replaced with no problem.

I have a 16 lb terrier and we love our daily walks. He's blind so i like to give him a little extra leash to explore via his nose. This leash was the perfect length and more importantly weight. It's light in my hands and light on him. The tension on the cord is enough so I know he's on the end but not too much where he's feeling a strong tug on him. I had bought another and the tension was over the top and he kept flinching in surprise b/c of the tension on the cord. This one is perfect!

This has been a great leash. It’s pretty sturdy and holds up well when my dog starts to pull. I like the fact that the leash is mainly a rope and not a thin tape like material. It doesn’t get twisted and tangled as easy. Great price too!

Do NOT purchase!!! CHEAPLY MADE CORD, it breaks! I purchased this cord at the end of November for my puppy, I was getting a week later. First it started to tear by the clip, and just now the cord snapped in half
