This supplement is formulated for crickets and most other feeder insects. The insects can be maintained on the diet until the time comes to feed them to your pet. To ensure optimal nutrition and calcium intake, feed the insects to your pet on the day after they've consumed the diet.

Fluker's Cricket Diet

I keep live mealworms for the wild birds and I mix this with the Fluker's mealworm diet which is much more expensive.

all feeder colonies love it

I feed this to my crickets , superworm colony, hissing cockroach colony, and Dubai roach colony. And all love it. Especially the hissing cockroaches. I feed this with potatoes and carrots and manages to keep my crickets alive for two weeks! Definitely recommend if your crickets die fast. Plus way better than the jelly cube things I’ve seen those dry up or tend to mold. This does not. Also a lot bigger than expected!

As soon as I put some of this into my cricket container, they immediately go for it! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Didn't work for my crickets, but may work for yours!

It is very hard for me to rate this product because I tried it to gut load my crickets to feed to my bearded dragon. My beardie has a very sensitive stomach so I have to watch what I feed my crickets. When I switched the crickets to this food he didn't respond well to it. I've known others though who swear by this food! It really depends on your reptile and their preferences. It's worth a try!

Incredibly useful.

In my opinion, any feeder insect colony does well with a light bedding of this. Phenomenal for producing healthy stock in insects and quality meals for my babies. I buy it by the 6lb jar just to save time and money. It makes a great bedding so i just change it when it needs cleaned and I don't have to worry about anything starving, i can just put in a dish with organic material after that.

Crickets loved it!

So with my having to keep crickets now for an inherited tarantula, I tried a different brand of food for the crickets but they didn't touch it. I decided to try this food for them. What a difference! They loved it! I put about a 1/2 teaspoon in an empty water bottle top and placed it in their home. They immediately went after it! I feel good feeding them this as it's high calcium. Healthier crickets make for a healthier tarantula. Thank you Chewy for offering a good selection of different products and a great customer service team! They're the best!
