About This Item

Details

  • A staple of many reptiles’ diets, crickets offer an excellent source of protein, fiber, and fat.
  • Transit can cause crickets stress, and it’s normal to see some loss—that’s why Fluker’s includes 10% extra crickets with every purchase quantity.
  • These crickets are gut-loaded with Fluker’s Insect Care essentials to ensure optimal nutrition and hydration.
  • Crickets are great for bearded dragons, geckos, aquatic turtles, frogs, and more; just be sure to order the correct size—feeder insects should never be wider than the width between your pet’s eyes.
  • With proper nutrition and care, small and medium crickets can live 2–3 weeks, while large crickets can live 7–10 days.

Ordered a large amount of crickets from Fluker's through Chewy and the vast majority of the crickets were dead on arrival. Ordered medium and small and there were many deceased crickets in both, over half. I received them directly from the delivery service and they did not sit on my porch in poor weather. It was my first time ordering crickets online and decided to just take the weekly trips to the pet stores.

We were excited to try this as an option; however we have not had a great experience. These are not shipped by Chewy, they are shipped from a third party. The first time they arrived in less than a week and almost all of them were still alive and packaged in a sturdy box with wire mesh on four sides of the box. Also pay attention to the details about shipping, there is a chart with which day they will ship based on when you order. They shipped on a Monday and seemed to be stuck in Memphis for over a week. The package tracking didn't seem to work, so when I called Chewy to check we ended up deciding to refund the purchase.

Not good

I guess I should have read all of the reviews before I ordered. All of them are dead. My geckos won't even touch them. I wasted my money. From now on, I'll wait

Terrible quality and service

Ordered 250 LIVE crickets and we're shipped out held in transit just to have 250 all completely dead. Is the a guarantee???? No wonder they have terrible reviews

Dead Crickets. Do Not Order

More than 2/3rds of the crickets arrived dead which seems to be the norm when you read the reviews. I was very disappointed to the point I canceld my autoship.

These were shipped via usps and therefore sat in my mailbox until I arrived home late at night (I work swing). Had they been shipped via other courier and delivered to my door where my husband could have brought them in (he's disabled and can't go the 1/4 mile to our mailbox) they may have survived better. As convenient as I thought having them delivered would be i guess I'll have to go back to driving an hour to our nearest pet store.

Size doesn’t seem to matter

3 order of crickets from this company. First ordered small. They were not 1/4 inch. More like an 1/8-almost microscopic. So then I tried ordering medium. First box came and they were huge. Way too big. Thought is was just a mistake and tried ordering medium again. They are the same as the last order - almost 2 inches which is absolutely useless for my animals. I will not order from Flukera again!

The shipping has been incredibly slow with these crickets. This is my 3rd batch and they were all dead this time. Shipped October 5th and I received today October 17th. Chewy did send me a replacement but I still haven’t received this either. I understand shipping sometimes doesn’t go as planned but from a reliability standpoint I would look elsewhere if you want an auto ship that you set and forget
