Tiny Hay Pieces Mixed in with the Powder

I will not purchase this item again. The protective plastic seal was on the container but was not tight and the powder was leaking out of the container. When I opened the bucket, I noticed tiny pieces of what looked like hay mixed in with the powder. I was also disappointed that the powder was not wrapped in a plastic bag like many of my supplements are. I did try it once and my two horses would have nothing to do with their feed so that ended up in the trash. Will not use again.

Supplement extraordinaire

I've switched two older horses to this product and stopped their other supplements. I noticed the difference in their coats within a month. Both horses had no winter

I've switched two older horses to this product and stopped their other supplements. I noticed the difference in their coats within a month. Both horses had no winter coat last year, and this year their coats are very nice for winter. My 32-year-old Arab always gets breakouts on his hind legs. He has had none since using this product. The other horse has some dry skin patches, and he hasn't had any issues. Hoofs look good on both horses, too. It's also not as expensive as other products.

Made all the difference in my senior horse!

I had used Source as a kid for my backyard pony back when it was basically the only supplement in existence. He was an old campaigner and it gave him a little pep in his step. Fast forward 30++ years and I have a senior horse now, on Prascend for PPID, who could not keep weight on, despite high calorie/high fat feed, loads of hay pellets and alfalfa cubes, Cocosoya oil and beautiful turnout. Gastroprotectants helped a little, but not significantly, so I threw a Hail Mary and tried a bucket of Source SR and it has been AMAZING! His weight came up, coat looked nicer and hoof health improved. I took him off of it at one point and his weight began to drop again until he went back on it. I’ve recommended it to others with older horses that need a little boost and they have seen the same results. He’s no longer on the oil or the (very expensive) high fat supplement until the dead of winter when the ground freezes and grazing stops. I’m an equine veterinary technician so I see many products go by and have had the opportunity to try out a number of them and this is my favorite for his specific senior needs!

Great product

I have had two of my horses on this product for many years and especially with my current horse Outlaw for 10 years. People comment he does not look 26. It has helped

Supplement got me goat with CH of her front legs

Quick results!

It stopped Billy from wind sucking

My horse Billy wind sucked when I had gotten him 5 years ago. After being on this supplement for a week he completely stopped and hasn’t done it again in 2 years!
