Forza10 uses only blue fish caught in the North Atlantic Ocean. This catch is rich in different species of oily fish, such as anchovies, sardines, herring, mackerel, and paddlefish. These fish are at the base of the food chain, so they do not risk accumulating pollutants or residues such as heavy metals or microplastics in their meat. Instead, they are rich in Omega-3 monounsaturated fatty acids, known for their anti-inflammatory effectiveness. As a hypoallergenic protein, all fish are considered a single protein source. There are no dogs that are allergic to a single species of fish or that tolerate only one species of fish in their diet.

Formula change - sunflower oil - incorrect ingredients on Chewy site

My dog was on previous version of this food, and did well. I received a notification that the previous "Forza10 Nutraceutic Active Depura Fish Diet Dry Dog Food,

My dog was on previous version of this food, and did well. I received a notification that the previous "Forza10 Nutraceutic Active Depura Fish Diet Dry Dog Food, 22-lb bag" was no longer available, and this "Forza10 Active Depura Fish Dry Dog Food" was the replacement. In comparing the ingredient lists, Chewy shows the exact same list, and even copied the same reviews and Q&A to the new product page. BUT, if you go directly to Forza10's website, you will see the new formula has a different ingredient list. It specifically says on Forza10's site that "*THIS PRODUCT IS THE NEW ACTIVE DEPURA FISH SUPPORT*" and has a new list of ingredients, including SUNFLOWER OIL. It also no longer lists "Icelandic wild-caught anchovies," which were called out on the previous version as the single-source protein. Now it just says "Made with Fish." Proten levels are different (previously 26%, now 23%), fat (12.5%, now 11%), fiber (2.6%, now 4.3%), moisture (8%, 9%), and Omega 3 and 6 numbers are different as well. You will have to research if these changes are acceptable to you or not, but this is NOT the same formula as before, and that is not reflected on Chewy's new product page.

Great food for sensitive stomach

This food worked really well for my Goldendoodle who has a very sensitive stomach. As advised by the manufacturer, we did not do a transition but rather went cold

This food worked really well for my Goldendoodle who has a very sensitive stomach. As advised by the manufacturer, we did not do a transition but rather went cold turkey. My dog had no issues (which is rare) and it firmed up his stool immediately. Only problem was that my dog did not like the taste of this food and slowly started to turn his nose up to it. If your dog likes the flavor, I highly recommend it!

Forza has been an answer to prayer for our girl with chronic pancreatitis. We had tried EVERYTHING else in an effort to avoid long term steroids. Forza was the answer. We started with the Colon formula which remedied her bowel issues within 2-3 days and she continues to do exceedingly well on the Forza products. She'd be in sad shape without Forza, now she is thriving and she looks and acts like the vibrantly healthy dog she was meant to be.

I do a rotation diet with my four dogs, so every month a different food. I like to have 4 foods in rotation. One of my dogs has allergies, and one has chronic pancreatis, so finding a food that is good for allergies and low in fat is not that easy. One of the foods I used was Nulo (cod and lentils) but it has been discontinued and the dogs really liked that one. My dogs seem to like the Forza, I cannot say they absolutely love it, but they are doing fine, not sure if it will be in my rotation, I have one other that I will be trying once this bag is finished.

I got this for my 13 year old hound mix when her previous diet started giving her loose stools. She really likes this food, and she's been able to get up into her favorite chair again without any additional medication or supplements. The only new thing has been this diet, so it could be helping with the pain in her rear legs. It is a bit pricey, but I feel like it has been worth it so far.
