Wonder Paws Vitamin B12 Cobalamin & Folate Supplement for Dogs, 90 count

I got this for my next door neighbor who has an Australian Shepherd. She started having very low energy and after running some blood tests, the vet found that she had digestive issues and low B12, which was caused by it so he recommended supplementing with 1500mg of B12 vitamin. My neighbor is elderly and not tech savvy, I decided to look for. I found a couple of products including from Wonder Paws. I chose theirs because they have 2 forms of cobalamin as well as folate. The other product also had folate but it only had 1 form of the cobalamin. I didn't do research on vitamin B12 for dogs specifically but I have done a lot of research on human vitamins so I know that if you use a vitamin or mineral in more than 1 form, your body is more likely to absorb it which is why the best vitamin companies combine them often. So I would think that the same should be the case for the dog. Either way, there is no downside. The Wonder Paws has 500mg of B12 in each tablet and they recommend 3 a day for large dogs so exactly 1.5g like the vet prescribed. The product was well packaged in a box and with a seal over the cap and then inside the cap. Need a scissor to pull of the outer seal on the neck of the bottle which is a bit annoying and they should really make it perforated so it's easier to take off. But if you are not too lazy to get scissors, you'll be ok. :) The font with their detailed description is pretty small so you need a mangifying glass to read but you can read it on the Chewy website if you pull up the images. This text is not important to read but they should still make it bigger. They show NASC seal which I googled and I now think you should only buy vitamins that have this seal since it means the company follows the rules of this industry regulator. The tablets smell pretty neutral. My neighbor said that the dog chewed it up with no issues. It looks like a very good product.
