Food for the dog allergic to everything

My german shepard allie seems to be allergic to everything and this often results in ear infections. This food worked well at keeping her ear infections to a minimum

She also found it tasty so there was no issue moving her over from Derm Complete (the prescription food she was on that was much more expensive and she did not like it).

I absolutely love this brand and type of food. My 5-year-old English Bulldog name chancho is literally allergic to practically everything! I tried everything under the sun and when I landed on this one it was a game changer. His ears were so itchy and yeasty constantly waking up two free times a week in the middle of the night rubbing his face in ears all over the carpet panting profusely and just generally uncomfortable. It took about a month and I noticed the difference it is less and less and now I'm lucky if he wakes up twice a month. It is a bit expensive but try asking the company for discounts. In the long run it is much less money than the constant Veterinary visits. It is totally worth it to see my bully so happy!

Pugs tend to gain weight fairly easily. I didn’t realize that mine had ballooned to 34lbs as he is a bigger pug than most. Put him on this and he is now at 22lbs. So

Finally !

I can't tell.you how many thousands of dollars in vet bills we paid clearing up my great.pyranese ear infection. He had a waxy yeasty infection we gave injections

I can't tell.you how many thousands of dollars in vet bills we paid clearing up my great.pyranese ear infection. He had a waxy yeasty infection we gave injections washes and oto packs for weeks at a time. Nothing worked or started to.work then it would.come.right back. Then my daughter went to work at a petfood supermarket and suggested it might be food related. You'd think the vets might have suggested it. We knew food had.something to do with it as fish was so much worse and usually that's the solution. We tried zero grain. All beef you name it we tried it. But literally 1/2 bag in this stuff he has zero infection. Ear healed up. He still fusses with it as he has so much trauma from years of people cleaning g his ears and the pain. Now he's a happy guy no head shaking. Nothing. Now if we could just keep him out of the bushes after he goes to the groomers. Lol

Resolved my GSD’s chronic allergies and ear infections

It’s the all too familiar story: GSD with terrible allergies that leave him scratching his ears until they’re a bloody fungal mess. Attempted the elimination diet

It’s the all too familiar story: GSD with terrible allergies that leave him scratching his ears until they’re a bloody fungal mess. Attempted the elimination diet but he’d avoid the hudrolyzed prescription food and eat all kinds of things from the yard. Long story short, we found this food which has some hydrolyzed protein but the first ingredients seemed like they’d increase flavor and seemed hypoallergenic. On another site people complained it smelled fishy which seemed like a good thing, so bought a small bag and he ate it-loved it! So bought a big bag and about two weeks in, ears were almost entirely healed! A month and he’s all healed up and perfect. I can’t find another dog food to rotate this with because this dog is allergic to everything. Seriously. So found a dehydrated base mix from HK and mix in eggs or sardines with it and this food and he looks BEAUTIFUL! His coat and ears are just BEAUTIFUL. When I first got him, he felt like a possum but now he’s all soft and silky. I am just so pleased. Btw ordered from the manufacturer because a few of the chewy reviews freaked me out but the manufacturer ships slow ground and we got low, so ordered from chewy 5 or 6x now and have not had any issues. JIC it helps someone-my dog is allergic to salmon and other white fish but evidently NOT to anchovies or sardines. We’re up a river without a paddle if they stop making this

It said it helps with ear ache

I’m having a hard time getting him to eat the proper amount. I’m sneaking it into his wet food , hoping my dog will get used to the new taste.
