What a Great Product!

My cat Abby has been diagnosed with kidney diease. She has lost a lot of weight and would not eat. My vet put her on Mirataz to increase her appetite. It worked

My cat Abby has been diagnosed with kidney diease. She has lost a lot of weight and would not eat. My vet put her on Mirataz to increase her appetite. It worked at first, then stopped. It mad her extremely aggresive. I have the prescribed kidney diets in wet and dry. I have baby food, turkey and chicken. I have kitten wet food. I have Friskies, Blue Buffaalo, Chru, all wet. I have all kinds of treats. Abby either ignores or eats once and not again. I am so frustrated. Then it was suggested from a wonderful customer service agent at Chewy to try the dry Forza10 Active Renal food. I was thrilled beond belief, Abby loved it yhe minute I put some in her bowl!! Abby sometimes will not eat the Forza10 and I put out the above mentioned items. Abby eats her choice of the moment. Abby is a 16 year old Tabby who lives strickly inside with me and her mouse toys.

I have been feeding this to our CKD cat for about a year now. Her blood work has been stable so far and she is eating the kibble well. She transitioned from a raw diet to this food (and is picky) without issue and she also has issues with urinary crystals, of which we haven't seen any indication of, thankfully. Yes, this food is greasy, since it's covered in omegas. We bathed our cats regularly before, but do a double shampoo wash now before conditioning because her coat is so greasy (she immediately grooms herself after every meal and spreads the grease from her mouth all over her coat). Glad we found this food since renal diets are often extremely unpalatable.

(I don't usually do surveys.) But I want to help folks who have a cat with renal disease who snubs the renal wet food. I figured it's a quality of life issue to let Angel keep on eating her favorite wet food and gave her the FORZA10 kibble on my way to bed at night. Angel doesn't like the taste--but she eats it. I measure her water intake twice a day and can see the effectiveness of the FORZA10. Her vet was pleasantly surprised at Angel's annual checkup.

We tried several different foods for our stage two CKD 17 year old boy and this is the first food he absolutely loves AND keeps down. We also feed the wet and he loves that as well. Our other two cats love this food as well so we may switch them to this as well since they constantly hover around the bowl for scraps. So thankful we found Forza 10!

Herbie’s kidneys are failing, and he doesn’t like Hill’s, Royal Canine, and other prescription foods. I was hopeful this food would be accepted, but no interest at all. Our vet is uncertain about FARMINA renal food, but I will keep Herbie on it since he will eat it periodically.

So-so. He is CRF.. and never has been big eater..but now worse. Not food's fault. Probably very good. (But I am not tasting it!) Rocky is beyond fussy.
