My Poodle loves this
My 14.5 year old female Mini Poodle was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. She is now on wet food and she is LOVING this. She is so vocal and jumps about because she is so excited. SWEET! I mix a few wet foods and some dry kibble with low protein (which helps not to work her kidneys too hard.) My only complaint is the price. It's a great product.
Great Product!
GREAT! Of all the Kindney specific foods my dog went through this one seemed to be the one she actually stuck with and liked the most. When she would not eat any of the others after a week she seemed to continue to eat this one. If you dog won't eat or stick with any of the renal diet foods I would suggest this one for sure.
HE LOVES IT
When Murphy was recently diagnosed with 3rd stage Kidney Disease, we had to get serious about his diet. We tried all other Kidney Diet on the market he would eat them once then refused to touch it. We found Forza 10 during a web search. It is the only food he will eat on a semi-regular basis. It is a rich food so we add 1/3 cup cooked brown rice to each meal to help alleviate loose stool. This food is a bit costly but Murphy's health is worth every dollar. If you have a pup with kidney disease this food is a must for them.
Success
Having a dog with renal disease they can turn up their nose on a food they seemed to like. They get nauseas. This is what I have been going through with my pet. So I have several to change off with until I was down to two. My Amie LOVES this "RENAL SUPPORT."
Her kidney values spiked on this
My dog was on this food and we were scrupulous in watching diet. In 3 months, her values doubled. She will eat Hill's chicken stew (k/d) and it's roughly the same cost. Save yourself and your dog the stress and damage
My cat liked it, but one flavor she didn't but..
I put baby food pureed chicken on it and she liked it. She liked the dry food then she didn't, but she was sick, thought she got sick from flea medication overnight she was hiding, not eating, rushed her to the vet said stage 4 renal failer. But after her food and purina pro plan hyda care, she's like a kitten, playing, running, she doesn't do that! I think adding the purina pro hydra care with potassium made her happy. It's like flavored thick soup she loves it and laps up the entire bowl! Good for hydration. So this food, make more flavors! I have to by chicken baby food now turkey and beef and ham to mix with it.. she's pretty much gonna die in a year vet said, but she's playing like a kitten and kneeding on me with little love chirps, she was grumpy ( hates cats, likes dogs, grew up as a tiny baby with my dog) but cats get found and I need to save them. 4 now. She hates them all but got a new dog other cat's hid but she loves the head licks. But she had skin allergies BAD! They're gone. I don't know why. She was covered in scabs had to take pegnisone every day, she's cured!
Dog Loves!!
Annie is a 13 year old Border Collie who has a high protein urine count. Our vet is trying to ward off Kidney failure by getting her protein urine count down. Annie is supposed to only have food that has 5%-7% protein which is a very bland type of food. I have tried 3 different varieties of food which she ate at 1st but then turned her nose up to. Just by chance I ordered the Forza10 Nutraceutic Actiwet Renal Support Dog Food. So far, she LOVES this food!!! Maybe because it's lamb tongue....I don't know but as long as she eats it even though it's expensive as for a 45 lb. dog (she's suppose to have around 9.5 trays as the vet doesn't want her having more than 800 calories a day), I'll buy it as long as she eats it. It's worth it to me to see her acting healthy. Afterall....a girl's got to eat!! :)
My dog prefers this over prescription food
My dog has a very finicky appetite with progressing kidney disease, but is often willing to eat at least some of this food. It smells better than the prescription diet food I previously bought, and a moist consistency that is easier to feed.
The BEST renal food ever
This food just cant be beat. I am a small dog hospice and this food is always palatable. They love it.
Puppy love this food
I have been trying to find a food that my 3 Yorkies would eat and nothing I tried worked. I even cooked for them but that got old. Then I found out that 2 of the pups were in kidney failure and of course you know what the vets prescribed for them to eat and of course they turned their nose up at that. So did some sear hing on Chewy and I tried the Renal support. They are now eating like little piggies and I think this has helped with their kidney levels. Going to confirm with blood work in another month or two. But I think we have a winner. Thank you Chewy. Now need to order more food.
