This is a hard one to review...

I purchased both the small and the large versions of this Hide ’n Seek Ice Cream Snuffle toy. My dog Willow, a 34 lb. beagle silky terrier mix, absolutely loves

I purchased both the small and the large versions of this Hide ’n Seek Ice Cream Snuffle toy. My dog Willow, a 34 lb. beagle silky terrier mix, absolutely loves this toy. It keeps her engaged and motivated, and she really enjoys searching for treats. However, durability has been an issue, especially with the large size. She has only used the large toy about 3 to 4 times so far, and she is already ripping it up. Several sections of the material are coming off. She is not normally a destructive toy chewer. If she does start tearing up toys, it usually takes months, not days. With this one, if I don’t closely supervise her and remove it as soon as she’s finished finding treats, she keeps going and starts pulling it apart. This also creates a bit of confusion for her. Unlike other toys she understands being put away, she doesn’t understand why this one is taken from her, since she still smells treats and wants to keep searching. So far, the small size has held up better, but she has only used it once and hasn’t damaged it yet. Overall, it’s a fun, enriching toy and she genuinely loves it, but I wouldn’t recommend leaving it out unattended, especially the large size. Supervision is definitely needed due to durability concerns.

Puppy loved this on his first try and got almost all of the treats. The subsequent uses were less successful and he missed a lot of treats. Was he bored? Did I bury them too deep in the folds? Not sure, but I had hoped it would keep him occupied for longer.

Nice alternative to a mat

My dog is happy to receive this filled snuffle, then can carry it proudly. Good size, portable, well made. Treats stay put nicely, too. I’d recommend.

Not super safe.

Easily destroyed, and the fabric pieces come off easily which can cause them to be digested.

Cute, but not durable.

We tried this with our puppy, who has yet to destroy a toy, and after the second use the fabric on the top of the cone started to come off. The "ice cream" is not
