Removes hair well

My other brush had given up...I needed a new brush this is very nice larger than expected very firm when brushing the cat she isn't taking to the new one very well but might work better in longer haired cats...but very well made..

This pet brush is so much better than the last one! It’s wider, so it covers more of the cat’s fur in one stroke. The steel bristles go deeper to catch more of the fur in the undercoat. I also like the ergonomic handle which makes it easier to hold while brushing. My cat, who loves to be brushed several times a day, seems to enjoy it and purrs while being brushed.

This brush works so great on our very large cat, I had to come write a review! Our cat meows for the brush every morning. It is so much easier to hold because of the handle design. We are so glad we we purchased it.

Bristles are Metal

This brush is not good for kittens. For one thing, it’s too wide for their little bodies. Neither like the texture/noise it makes when trying to brush them. The bristles are like little needles. Miserable for them as well as me.

Gets out the mats

This is a nice brush but the head is a bit large for a smaller cat. If you have a big cat with longer hair this is the ticket!

My Kat didn't take to brushing. Which is fine, since he hardly sheds. He is a short-haired tabby. I just thought he might enjoy the experience. The brush is great, though and I was able to gift it to someone that has two cats with a lot of hair! And shedding problems. Hopefully, they will take to brushing. Chewy promptly refunded me and allowed me to pass on the item.
