Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.

These were first recommended to my Yorkie mix by a vet internist. She had chronic pancreatitis caused by Addisons Disease. I saw a major difference in her so I started my Pekingese on them as well. He was recently diagnosed with mild arthritis and our vet rehab vet is happy he was already on a good source of omega 3s. I don’t cut off the top. I put some yogurt or peanut butter on it and my dog gobbles it up.
No idea why some folks are saying these are messy. They are not! Using these is so easy compared to trying to cut open the human size ones I take. Simply hold the capsule with the cute little dog bone end pointing down over the food bowl, snip with kitchen scissors and squeeze over food. This product smells nice and fresh and fishy (not oxidized or bad). My dog loves the taste on his kibble. Just be aware that this does add calories so may need to trim back meal portion size by a few kibble.
Our vet recommended this supplement for our 14 year old cat as a boost for his urinary system. Mr. Singh didn't like it at first, but has since gotten used to it as we have mixed it with the wet food that he eats. Ordering from Chewy makes it less expensive and more convenient as we continue to give him this supplement.
Purchased this for my early stage kidney disease cat Minnie Mouse. This brand, unlike the other I tried, is easy to use; just snip off the top and squeeze into the food.
This pills me very sick and left nasty stain on the carpet from my pee my mommy has scrubbed her brains out and still won’t come up
I tried this product because it was recommended by my vet. I squeezed the oil onto my dog's food. She ate it but she is not a picky eater at all. Unfortunately, it made her vomit. After the first time, I waited a few days and tried it again with the same result. My dog is 12 years old.
After the first use (one capsule per dog), the bowel movements were very soft. After the next day of use, they were very very soft. I went to every 3 days. Better, but still a mess. Then every 4 days. Now I will use one capsule and divide it 3 ways and see if that is ok. To open: Don't try to twist or cut the top off. You'll have an eruption. Instead, use a straight pin and poke ONE hole in the end opposite the neck. Squeeze very gently. I will not re-buy these, however. The feces change make these a hard pass. mb
I love these for my dog. Not as convenient as a pump of oil but the quality of the oil is WAY better. I have these on auto ship.
It’s too early to tell if my dog’s coat looks shinier but i will say that this formulation is easy to administer and both dogs eat it as part of their kibble. I disguise it with a tiny dollop of peanut butter and then it goes.
They are great. My dog loves them and no problem getting him to eat his food when I put it on it. Just what my Vet wanted him on. Would recommend it to any pet parent.
