I've had this hay net for about a month. I wanted to love it because it holds a full 2-3 string bale and is so easy to use. However, the netting and ropes are poor quality, and my horse got his leg stuck in a hole that appeared after some of the netting frayed and broke. He's fine, thankfully, but tweaked his shoulder pretty badly when he panicked over getting his foot stuck. It could have been a lot worse if he hadn't stopped then and let me help him out of it. My horses are not unusually hard on hay nets or anything. I have several cheap ones that I've had for years and have never had this issue before.

I wanted a haynet with smaller holes as my mare eats very fast. Even with her 1 1/4 inch haynet she could eat 8lbs of hay in 3-4 hours. I thought this net would be perfect but the material seems to have frayed making the holes very small and she gets very little out of it. Plus the material is like velcro, hay sticks to it as well as it sticks to itself. Not happy with it. Waste of money.

Works great for large 3-string bales

I have my horses on a track system. I have three of these that allow me to put out full 3-string bales (110-125 lb bales)at three different feed stations. The net

Pretty good if kept dry

This net has been working good and has held up to my horses thrashing it around My one complaint is that the rope material does absorb water when wet so it’s not
