How much does it raise the front of your saddle?

My 4 year-old draft cross mare LOVES this pad! I was previously using a Navajo blanket folded in half to give more support in the wither-area. This mare is new to me and has a significant hollowing just behind her withers. Her attitude has improved greatly since I began using the gel pad, and I no longer see any dry spots in the area under her withers. The pad stays in place during saddling and riding. I would purchase this product again!
