Small but sturdy
I originally purchased this tree to give my cat a place to hang out in the hallway outside our bedroom but after assembling it I noticed it was the perfect height to give her an easier way to get onto the higher platforms of her giant mount hood cat tree by kitty mansions. She's 12 years old now and she has been having trouble getting around so this was the perfect solution to help her get up onto her beloved cat tree that isn't exactly the perfect design for senior cats. I love that the bed is just a cover because removing it was all that was needed for her to learn to use it. The posts are much thicker than I expected - they are thicker than the posts of her feandrea tree so I feel safer her about using it and not worrying that the post will snap off randomly. Our bedroom windows are 28 inches above the floor so this tree is also the perfect height to give her an additional window watching spot! Thank you Frisco for making senior cat friendly trees that are reliably sturdy and accessible!
1 year anniversary
I've had this coming up for a year now and it's worked great, my cat loves it. Recently it has become wobbly no matter how much I tighten the screws, but I assume that's due to the wear and tear of my cat constantly jumping on it every day. I didn't find the setup hard as I have had to take it apart many times due to moving, It never took me more than 10 minutes to put it together. I am not too sure how this would work for bigger cats considering mine is a smaller bread so it is just the right size for her. Fairly easy to vacuum, and overall lovely for small apartments/cats at a decent price.
Second cat condo
I bought one for my kitten 3 years ago. She outgrew the top bed but she doesn’t care. She curls up tight or hangs over the lip. We just adopted a 2-year old and bought an identical condo. We call them “twin beds”, both cats settle in for their naps. Sturdy, easy to wash, scratching posts have held up well. No complaints.
LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS
We’ve had this cat tree for 6 months with two cats, so we’ve definitely gotten some use out of it. To start, it’s hard to put together. The post in the cat den on the bottom are so hard to get in the right place. Also, if you even slightly tighten the pieces to tight, they click and break. We’ve had to super glue parts of this back together multiple times!!! The top piece leans pretty bad, and it wobbles on the ground. Overall, it’s just poor quality in general. It leaves little fuzzes everywhere and the scratching post sheds more than my cats do. My one pro: my two cats do love it, and even though it is small, my cats can still curl up together on the top.
Comfy cat tree
I bought this because of a sale Chewy was having and the reviews seemed good. It quickly became my cat’s favorite resting spot. The top part is so comfortable to her. Plus it’s got all the great aspects of being high up and having scratching posts. Definitely a great purchase!
Solid and affordable cat tree
Bought this cat tree so that my cat would have somewhere to perch and look out the window. It came disassembled but was easy to put together. My one criticism about the assembly is that the fabric makes it hard to see the screw holes, so I had to do that part a bit blind. It is sturdy and my car likes the bottom scratching post and laying on the top perch, without the fluffy bed cover.
Please check product before shipping
One washer was missing from the base so I had to take it out of the old tree. It took me couple hours to assemble because of this little detail, so please chewy check your products before shipping to your costumer! In the end it worked.😮💨
3d purchase was a dissapointment
After buying this exact Frisco tree twice over the years, we were surprised to find such bad construction with our new tree. The base is totally missing one of the two essential screws. Worse, the remaining screw is NOT flush with the base (extends 1/4 inch) so it would never sit down firmly, without seriously rocking. Plus, it would destroy any type of floor or carpet it sits on. We wish Frisco would sell replacement scratching posts and a replacement "cat bed" for the top perch (that luckily is currently removable and washable )since these are the only parts that really wear out. Having to re- purchase the WHOLE tree is unnecessary. Plus, throwing out the whole tree every few years is not environmentally conscious
DONT LIKE BUILDING? DONT BUY!
I have built full size cat trees that are 70+ inches tall and I have never had an issue building a cat tree. EVER. This has taken me an Hour to build something that is just a few twists and screws. You have to build the hut yourself and you cannot get the screws into the posts that hold it together because it’s so tight. Definitely don’t recommend to people who need something easy to put together. It also comes lopsided and it’s not level with the ground.
Cheap item
We purchased this thinking it was a great price. The materials are cheap and flimsy. My kittens ripped apart the covering on the platform and scratch poles, the sisal rope used is cheap also we replaced with thicker sisal rope. It literally breaks apart in pieces and sheds horribly. I regret buying this.
