My cat loved it ! but....
My big, Big now 14 month old siamese/balinese kitty loves it! I have always bought the real carpet which has always held up well and this one also does. My complaint is the center pole between the two perches. The very bottom of the pole is wood with the metal part further up inside that screws onto the base of the perch. Bad design. the wood is now just one very large hole at the base of the pole! Today some friends tried to secure the pole with 2 V shaped metal whatevers screwed to the pole and base of perch. If this doesn't work....crazy glue???? I just wish some were made with a larger base. Cats like to jump! That's what they do. But my kitty loves it ..and I love my kitty.
Poor construction
This item arrived June 21 and as of July 29 I am not happy with the quality. It put together easy enough. The scratch pad was placed on the unit crooked but I overlooked that. Everything was tight. A couple weeks ago I noticed that the top perch seemed loose, so I tried to tighten but that didn’t work. I got the Allen wrench and it could barely turn it but yet the top perch twirled around. Today I had the time to investigate it and it think what was an anchor for the bolt had come out the hole they had it in and I could not dislodge it. So right now I have wood glue that I am hoping will stabilize the top perch. Very disappointed considering I don’t consider this an inexpensive piece. Other reviews are correct about the strings off the carpet. I have been happy with Frisco products up until this cat tree, they need to pay attention to quality.

I have large cats and this is too small for them. Also carpeting is not high quality
Not worth it
I bought this exactly a month ago despite some reviews that it isn’t sturdy. My mistake. The carpet lasted maybe a day and my cats only scratched it maybe 3 times (nails recently trimmed too). Today the entire thing came crashing down with my cat on it.. the middle part became entirely warped and won’t go back together. Poorly made for the price
Nice But…
Cat tree just arrived to the delight of the kitties; however, there is no cardboard scratch pad in the angled section for it and the nails which may have been anchoring that to the pole have pulled out. Without that connection, the tree is a little wobbly.
Not heavy enough
After assembling, my cat jumped right on it. She even scratched it. Then she leaped off the top, and the entire tree toppled over. This tree is not as heavy as other brands. I removed the top platform;cat still scratches on it and lays in it. Top platform sits on floor as a cat bed. Would have given a higher rating were it made of heavier material.

Bought this for my 12 year old cat. He destroyed his last one. He is a very aggressive scratcher. Been looking for a new one but they are so expensive. I found this one on Chewy and the price was right. He is sleeping in it as I write this review.
Cat Tree is Great!
As soon as I put it together, the kitties were on it. I set tree next to front window. My boy kittie loved it so much, he stayed on it all day. That night, he jumped into my chair and gave me kisses, then he jumped back on tree.
Tears Apart in Weeks
I bought this 3-4 weeks ago and my cat tore it up already, down to the core material. He tore through the rug and plastic. Not a durable cat tree
Great tree
My large cats love this cat tree. They scratch all parts and fit easily in the two beds. They love the rug instead of the fur cat tree I used to have. Two thumbs up!
