Cat Tree/Condo
The cat tree with condo is as described in the description, it only took my cat a couple of days to like and use. The only thing is the round piece at the bottom is a little bit in the way of the scratching posts - which my cat likes the best. She hasn't used the top perch, it is a little high up to get on, so that is why I gave it a 4 star rating. It is easy to put together and very sturdy as well. I did use catnip to attract her to the new cat tree since it had a new carpet smell.
Sturdy and perfect except one tiny thing
This is a great cat tree, sturdy and well-made, with hard-to-find, GENEROUSLY sized shelves that my 13-pound cat LOVES. It was a breeze for my inept self to put together. It’s perfect in every way except for one thing. See the flat, angled scratching panel that extends from the ground to the second level? That is very difficult to install. There’sa trick to it. They tell you that in the instructions. But even that doesn’t work. Anyway, my cat doesn’t even use the panel, I could have skipped it entirely, so go figure. Still it’s a wonderful item, probably the best on the market, and reasonably priced, too! If you’re in the fence, I suggest you go for it. It’s hard to find good quality cat trees like this. Definitely recommend.
Totally Impressed!
We ordered this last Saturday and while it did take almost a week to get here, it was totally worth it! I am so impressed with the quality for this price. Our little Daphne was on it while we were still building it, which was pretty straight forward and easy. I love the fleece material that is used and so does Daphne. I dislike the faux fabric that they can't get their nails into to help with their climb, so this is perfect. Can't believe it was such a good deal and I would definitely buy it again. It is super sturdy and solid! Do I recommend this??? I sure do! You will not be disappointed!
I bought a second one
My cats love this tree! After several years of much use and abuse I bought a new one. Some parts were still in great shape so I decided to add levels from the old one to the new. Cats love it now even more.
Best purchase ever!
Our kitten just loves this cat tree. She sits on top and looks out the window or cat naps. When not napping, she is playing with the rope or hanging ball. This tree keeps her busy for long periods of time. Great purchase!
Quality has changed.
We run an animal rescue and usually love the Frisco cat trees. We have purchased several of this particular cat tree over the past few years. They usually last until they are worn from several years of multiple cat use. Just a couple of months ago, I assembled a new one of these to replace an old one that many cats enjoyed for years. The new one seemed similar in quality, but within a month, the cardboard bottom tunnel had torn, leaving the tunnel detached from the tree. Then, a few weeks later, I noticed the top tower was starting to wobble. I thought it just needed to be tightened, but the hardware inside the cardboard tube was actually coming lose. The wobble became so bad that I was afraid it would snap, so unfortunately we disassembled and threw away the tree after a very short use. I am hesitant to purchase another since I am not sure if we just got a lemon or if the quality has declined. Very disappointed.
Great Investment
I never thought I’d buy one of these but I’m so glad I did. My cats absolutely love this thing. They play on it, sleep on it, perch themselves on top and watch the rest of us go about our day. I think they’d be lost without it at this point.
Going to purchase another!
I purchased my 1st one back in Nov 2019 and now it's time to get another. I have to say my 2 furbabies (adult w/claws) definitely enjoyed their tree/condo. It wasn't difficult to put together, within my budget and lasted along time. Love this cat tree! Thanks Chewy
Just buy it, it's worth it.
I don't know why some people complained about it being difficult to put together. It took a little time- maybe 30 minutes, but it was very easy to do. My cats are small at 8.5 and 10.5 pounds but they both fit in the little condo together -not very well and not for very long -but they were both in it for about 5 minutes and then the old guy jumped down and went to eat. They seem to like it. The older cat is on it everyday for at least a little while and my younger fraidy-cat has used it a few times. He's starting to get more into it. It has a lot of different features that the older cat seems to appreciate and I'm sure the young one will get there too. In the future I may order another one with two condos as well. This is pretty sturdy for the average housecat.
Well worth the money
This was our first tree condo purchase. I spent forever comparing & reading reviews as I was concerned about it being too small for our 3 large cats. But our biggest makes it up to the highest base and our 2nd biggest cat makes it all the way to the top perch. They LOVE it! When I opened the box and saw the diagram instructions, it was quite daunting. But with the help of my daughter, we had it put together in 20-30 minutes. No missing parts or defects. It's sturdy enough that I didn't even need to use the dry wall anchor. I love that many of the parts are scratching posts, my cats have made good use of them already. It's great value for the price, well made and easy to put together. It also arrived quickly.
