Sturdy & Beautiful Design
I'm really impressed with the quality of this piece. I didn't expect the top to be solid wood. The inside metal frame is also very sturdy and overall it has many details that just makes it a beautiful work of furniture. The only downside is that the height and depth could be increased for larger breeds because compared to a real cage its pretty cramped under there. I don't actually lock my dog in it and just use it as a safe space for her to go to when she wants to though so it's fine for us.
Obsessed!!
We adore this thing! It’s huge but I managed to put it together on my own. Other than it being heavy, it’s very easy to put together. It’s recommended for small to medium dogs, but our 80 pound German shepherd loves it so far!! He feels right at home!
Quality piece of functional furniture
I could see my husband's eyes roll back into his head when I suggested we buy one of these for our 2 texas heelers, like how could chewy produce a quality piece of furniture? I wanted something more appealing than the wire crates we have been using and also like the usable top cap that things won't fall thru. It was delivered today and my husband went and got his drill for what was sure to be an hours long assembly. To my delight, it took us about 5 minutes & no power tools needed! It's made of quality, durable materials and the dogs are pretty excited for their new digs. Bravo chewy!
Very classy - missing a bit.
This really steps up our living room without costing as much as some of its competitors! It is sturdy and seems like it'll do the trick. The only issues we had were that FedEx delayed delivery a couple of different times and also once it came, it was missing a screw to secure one of the locks. That particular thing was something that should have been done in the factory and is not part of assembly once received. When I contacted Chewy, they offered to take the entire thing back, but since it was already assembled and since the box was really damaged and upon delivery, that is a bit dramatic and unnecessary just for the missing small part. We didn't want to waste Chewy's money lugging the whole thing back, especially after we'd already waited 2 weeks for it. We're going to head to our local hardware store and fix this ourselves. It's a little bit annoying to have to pay for parts ourselves, but it is a nice piece of furniture. All in all, recommended.
It’s a nice crate
I bought this crate recently and I have to say it is a nice crate. It is bigger than I thought it would be. I also bought it because of how easy it was to put together. I am not mechanically inclined so I was glad that I did not have to put it together. My dogs seem to like it and it does not look bad with my decor. Use your own dog beds because the little mats included to me are just for show. I like that you can also open the crate from the top. The only issue I had was that the corner on the top was chipped from when it was shipped. I called Chewy and they were like we can replace it and have you send the original one back. It’s too much of a hassle to do that given the size of the crate. I would have preferred a small credit or something. I am thinking of buying another one in black this time. Other than that, I would recommend the crate.
Frisco Broadway Dog Crate Review
The dog crate is stunning! Looks like a beautiful piece of modern furniture and goes with my living room renovations perfectly. I ordered the black one. Only downside is it’s made of heavy particle board. I have two 9 week old mini cavapoo puppies that chewed the corners off in a matter of minutes. Not pitbull puppies, mind you. Miniature cavapoo puppies. Time to break out the wood putty and paint. Sigh. Otherwise, would highly recommend this product. You’ll love it!
Looks cute not worth it
Looks great, waited a long time for it to come back in stock in blue. Absolutely not durable, came home one afternoon and my dog was out of the crate I put her in when I left. Do not recommend at all for any dogs.
Beautiful Crate
I was nervous ordering this crate based on reviews of how long it took and damage concerns. Ours came perfect and arrived the next day. Super easy to assemble. I did it by my self in 10 minutes. Fits our 3 babies perfectly and looks way better than our other crate. Fur babies are 22 lbs, 27 lbs and 35 lbs for reference.
Exactly what I was looking for!
This was so easy and took no time putting together. It is a bit heavy, so if you have someone to help, I’m sure it’ll be even faster to assemble. I was worried my fur baby would have trouble adjusting to this crate since he’s older, but he walked in and went right to sleep with no issues. Definitely would recommend if you’re trying to get rid of the regular looking crate to give your home a more appealing appearance. Do note it is not for tiny dogs. My mom’s chihuahua slipped right through the bars.
