Nice, but…
The kennel arrived with damage to the four corners (one had a piece of black tape to hide it), a bent hinge and screws that weren’t flush (improperly screwed in). This was sent from the manufacturer and the corners were “shimmed in” so the damage was done before the piece was boxed. Purchased the black so used a sharpie to make the corners blend in, fixed the screw and the damaged hinge is still functional. Chewy offered a return, but it’s over 100 lbs. so I’m keeping it. But I paid full price for a damaged item. If it was sent in good shape, my review would have been a 5. If you are planning on purchasing, recommend you call Chewy to see if these issues have been resolved.
Bars on the door need reinforcement
The 1st time I used this product, I placed my 55lb, 6 year old Australian Shepherd, Emme, in it. I was gone for 4 hours. Emme is crate trained and has never escaped from a crate in the past. Generally, she sleeps while crated. This time, however, Emme managed to push out one of the bars on the door panel. The bar was bent and totally dislodged from the crate. Now, the crate is unusable unless I can figure out how to insert the bar back into the door panel as well as unbending it.
Perfect for our Pup
We purchased this for our 90 lb Golden Retriever over a year ago. We cut some of the bars off and placed in front of his doggy door so he doesn't have run of the house when we are gone but he can come in an sleep in his bed. He did chew on one corner of it but otherwise hasn't touched the rest or broken anything on it. He did tear up the cushion and we haven't been able to find a suitable replacement for that but otherwise it's the perfect size and not an ugly wire crate which I love.
can chew through bars
I do like the look of this furniture kennel, however I was a little surprised how easily my puppy could chew throw the bars…. They material they are made out of is like a fake particle board… it is not metal. My puppy chewed right through the “bars” of the kennel and let herself free… she’s not a big chewer, but nervous in the kennel… not good for nervous dogs or chewers. Wasted my money

I was iffy but my pitty LOVES it! Was sent the wrong size but 2 inches doesnt make a difference! She fits so well!
Great piece at a great price!
Love this dog crate credenza! Quality is excellent and the price is great compared to other pieces on the market. Love the large size and how my chihuahuas can sleep together at night. One issue we have is our smallest chihuahua (5 lbs) can squeeze herself out the R and L sides because those bars are spaced a tiny bit further than the front and back bars. That’s a bummer but we’re looking into maybe plexiglass to place on those sides to keep her in.

Perfect for Our Needs
I have two doxies girls who like to stretch out in the crate. I was tired of the ugly black crate in my living room. This crate is well made, has plenty of room for them, and looks so nice in the room. The girls love it!
I love it!
I wanted to get a crate for my dog so can start crate training before I move to an apartment. I absolutely love this crate because it don't feel like a punishment crate, it gives home bed vibes. My dog still doesn't understand that id her new bed, but she is comfortable going in and out of it which is a great step forward. #ChewyTeamRated
