Terrible

My opening, 54" is the max this product listed. I am in my early 30s and in shape. I had to use all my strength to wrestle this thing open and click it in with the recoil mechanism fighting me the whole time. My feet were sliding out from under me. The spring mechanism is WAY too intense. Once you unlock it to retract it, it recoils with an insane amount of force. Completely unsafe. And to top it off, the netting is uneven and looser at the bottom than the top. If you had a small opening, maybe it would be easier to muscle but anything after 20 inches gave me a run for my money. I have a hilarious video to show how hard it is to open but I can't upload it. The video they provided is just not true at all. Drilled holes in my wall for no good reason!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS.

Disappointed

Really disappointed in these. I ordered three and they were difficult to install and ended up ripping off some of the drywall at my house. Overall, they are poor quality and take up more space then they should. You have to be VERY careful when opening and closing these gates and use both hands to do so. Because of the springs, they open very fast and will hurt you or your pets.

Unsightly and Doesn’t Work As Thought

The idea behind this gate is good but the fabric does not roll up well. It always ended up rolling 3/4 of the way and the rest of the fabric hung out of the roll. We ended up buying a baby gate that we can just keep around the corner and it works much better and looks better, too!
