Are the sides of the bed soft where it doesn’t stay firm?

Is the small bed 21 inches across like the back and front or up the sides like running along the sides

The overall dimensions of the Small bed measures 21 x 19 x 6.5 inches, the Medium measures 26.5 x 22 x 9 inches, and the Large measures 32 x 26 x 10 inches. The interior sleeping dimensions of the Small measure 14 x 12 x 5 inches, the Medium is 17 x 14 x 6 inches and the Large is 23 x 17 x 6 inches.

Will the underneath fabric melt in the clothes dryer like so many other beds that are machine washable?

For best results, it's recommended to hang dry this bed or tumble dry on low.

Is this bed good for all seasons? The weather is very hot where I live now but I want this to also work in the winter too!

This is a standard pet bed that works all year round. Your dog will receive natural heat from laying on the plush fabric, however this bed is not heated.

Washable, fairly rugged, reasonably priced

My new 2-year-old rescue, Trish, is an insane chewer and had already totally demolished several beds. My 13-year-old dog, Joey, is slightly incontinent. I wanted a bed for both, so it needed to be totally washable and not so expensive it could be replaced if necessary. Both dogs like it and it has survived for several weeks, so I count that as a success. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but it seems pretty washable so I have no concerns. When Trish started to chew it, I told her NO several times and so far it only has a chew on one corner.

Well Made Cushy Dog Bed

This bed has deep channels that a small ldog might not like trying to walk upon. The bed is nice looking with soft, washable fabric and lots of cushion to the channeled pillow base. But my dog's chubby body and short legs made the bed challenging. She wanted no part of it. I gave this bed to a neighbor that has a long legged younger dog and he loves the bed. So, the bed will be enjoyed by that family.

One star for high price increase

Frisco Faux Suede Bolster Cat bed. Last November 2024, I purchased this cat bed for $13.69. I purchased it again April 2025 for $16.99. Now it's selling for $21.39

Frisco Faux Suede Bolster Cat bed. Last November 2024, I purchased this cat bed for $13.69. I purchased it again April 2025 for $16.99. Now it's selling for $21.39. That's quite an increase in less than a year. Sad to say, I will not be purchasing it from Chewy.

... but Nigel doesn't. He gets next to it and stares at it a lot. But the closest he's come to getting into it is one paw paused cautiously aloft and then a quick tap before darting away. Thinking it may be a scent aversion, I washed it to no avail. But I'm not giving up and will I'll try again in the winter. The bed, though, is very high quality. The fabrics are sturdy and very nice, particularly the silky smooth fur lining. I got the small for my very long, tall, heavy cat, 18-20 lbs. It's perfect for a large cat, no problems. The only issue I might have is with the center bolster. It's more stuffed than the side ones, creating somewhat of a lump in the middle of the bed, but it's probably not an issue for the cats.

Abbigail‘s always like bolster beds but this is the coziest one she’s ever had The sides are really high and stay firm when she rest her head or nuzzles her nose It’s huge, but big enough for when she stretches out her legs which I know she’ll do at some point The bottom is not flat, but very cushy I know she really loves it because she’ll actually sit and groom herself in it before her nap She uses it all the time since she got it. It’s worth it to see her so happy and comfy for reference. She’s a 23 pound Maine coon so quite a large cat the medium she would’ve been overflowing a little this one the sides are so high, she kind of hides in it. I like the interior fabric. Her other beds had fleece. This is really soft.

My previous beds were difficult to keep clean and I was always concerned that they would clog up my washer and dryer. She lays in living room in it but prefers her orthopedic bed for at nite..so it's great for during the day in front of fireplace. She's 15 n I keep her near me all day!
