Decent distraction

My 14lb. Shihpoo is kept busy with this, but you have to determine the correct size and shape treat so that it isn't too easy.

My Field Spaniel really enjoyed this new toy. I don’t know if it was the texture or the shape, but long after all of the treats had been dispensed, she brought it to me for a game of fetch in the house! This was the medium/large size toy, and our usual training treats fit easily into the toy, but also were fairly easy for her to get out. We then switched to putting kibble in the toy, which took a little more work. She must’ve liked the mouth feel as it occupied her for a long while!

I really liked the Frisco Textured Tough Rubber Treat Dispenser Dog Toy — the colors are super pretty and it definitely caught my dog’s interest right away. It’s a fun design and easy to stuff with treats. That said, it was a bit smaller than I expected, especially for a Medium/Large size, and it’s not quite as sturdy as I was hoping. My dog isn’t an extreme chewer, but I’m not sure this would hold up long-term with more aggressive play. Overall, a cute and entertaining toy, just wish it was a little more durable and true to size.

He will only play with it though if there are treats in it. It is made with durable rubber, so it is made to last.

Cute blue football shaped dog treat hiding toy

My dog enjoyed playing with the treat toy. The hard plastic material is sturdy enough for him & he liked being able to carry it in his mouth. I used tiny milk bones

My dog enjoyed playing with the treat toy. The hard plastic material is sturdy enough for him & he liked being able to carry it in his mouth. I used tiny milk bones instead of kibble but he couldn’t get the treats out. So I’ll try his dog food next time.
