About This Item

Details

  • This treat dispensing ball toy uses your pup’s favorite incentive to encourage mental activity, exercise critical thinking skills, and reward their problem-solving efforts with treats.
  • Provides a fun, engaging activity that helps prevent doggy boredom and can also be used as a slow feeder. Watch your dog nudge, roll, paw and chase the ball to release the treats inside.
  • Four adjustable sizes of dispenser hole allow you to control the number of treats dispensed, while the removable inserts allow for adjusting the difficulty to suit your dog’s level of experience.
  • Recommended for medium to large dog breeds. The ball should be larger than your dog’s mouth in order to use safely and should not be picked up.
  • Frisco products are crafted to deliver more happy moments together—from exciting toys and adorable apparel, to leak-proof potty gear. Designed, tested and approved by the pet experts at Chewy.

We use this 2x a day for part of our dog's meal! Keeps her entertained for 10-15 minutes while we're doing other things. She's 25 lbs so isn't able to potentially chew on it. Our dog is super smart so will occasionally be able to carry it around with one of her canines in the small hole so definitely supervise until they get the hang of rolling rather than biting.

This keeps my beagle busy and occupied for a long time. The button unlock and twist mechanism has so far prevented him from unlocking the ball, which he's done in the past with similar toys. My only minor complaint is that even the smallest hole is still too large for his kibble.

My dogs love this, the only problem I have is that I find it very difficult to assemble. Closing the 2 pieces properly takes a good 5-10 minutes, but once it’s assembled, my dogs absolutely love this. I like that I can change the size of the hole so the dogs will spend a good amount of time pushing this around. I find other treat balls dispense the treats too quickly. And it’s fairly durable my dogs carry it in their mouths, drop it from the couch to the floor and push it with their noses and it doesn’t show any signs of wear. I’m getting another so the dogs don’t have to fight over one.

I love the size of this compared to standard treat balls/puzzle balls/slow feeders. However. Its not just a bigger version of the smaller balls, its an over-engineered cleaning nightmare. Lots of tiny gaps for kibble dust to get stuck in, a whole button to break, several internal parts that come out but somehow even when taken fully apart theres places you cant reach to clean still. I really like that you can adjust the size of the opening part, but the smallest and largest sizes arent really useful. If you had treats that needed the biggest size hole, they wouldnt fit well inside in the first place. If you had treats small enough for the smallest hole then youd have a smaller dog, and wouldnt need such a big puzzle toy. Id also worry about a dog getting their tongue stuck in the largest size opening. It holds half a cup of small kibble for my 50lb dogs breakfast and it takes her about 10 minutes to empty that. I do LOVE that this ball is completely smooth on the outside so it barely makes any noise on solid floors when rolling around. And despite being hard plastic its easy to screw together after filling. And its just big enough that my dog isnt interested in picking it up to chew or drop(normally her go-to with the smaller treat balls is to pick them up and crack them right open). And the price is great for the size. photo is it next to a standard/small size treat ball that i use for my cats

I have an extremely active 3 year old dog and she's always wants me to play with her indoor, which means there is no 'chil time' for me. I bought this to keep her occupied while I get things done in the home, and it does....For 10 to 15 min but it does depend on how many treats you put into it. I like that you can adjust the size openings. I'm glad I got it.

Great for mind stimulation

Our pup is a super smart pup and gets bored really easily. She’s also a super chewer so it’s hard to find toys that last. She absolutely loves this toy and it stands up to really rough play. It’s challenging enough to keep her occupied for around 30 minutes. You can also change the size of the hole to release the treats. I definitely recommend this toy!!!
