Frisco Non-skid slow feeder dog bowl is the perfect size for my small dogs. It definitely makes mealtime a lot more fun for them and I feel like they chew their food instead of swallowing it whole. I also love the bright colors. We put gravy on the bottom part and they love moving the top tray around to find it. I had to buy a second one so they could both could enjoy mealtime together. I love that it has a non-skid bottom on it too. That way they don’t have to chase their bowls all over the kitchen.

This little slow feeder is perfect for tiny little mouths. There are ample food slots to insert the food. Unlike other slow feeders, the light green middle section (where you add the food), will actually move around the inside perimeter of the bowl as your pet licks and tries to get at the food. This makes your pet have to engage to think and maneuver which keeps them interested. The light green section can pop out easily from beneath for ease of cleaning. I would recommend this bowl for anyone with a small pet who has aggressive feeding tendencies.

This is a good interactive bowl. My dog liked it. It kept her busy and seems better than the traditional slow feeder inserts. The only down fall for me is that is is plastic. I am just not a plastic fan. But for stimulation and activity it works well. Our dog is a larger pit mix that needs a slow feed bowl to keep her from inhaling her food. I would recommend if you are looking for something like this.

I used the Frisco interactive non-skid plastic slow feeder dog bowl for my 15 year old boston terrier with extensive medical issues. Sometimes she's picky, sometimes she acts like shes starving and will eat so much, so fast, she makes herself sick. This is a great tool for her to eat slowly, instead of giving very small portions at a time. Obviously great for a small or younger dogs, too.

I filled the feeder with my dogs food. It definitely slows their eating as it is made so the first layer they basically have to use their tongue to get food out

I filled the feeder with my dogs food. It definitely slows their eating as it is made so the first layer they basically have to use their tongue to get food out of grooves. As they eat they learn that the top layer moves and it’s easier to get the food as the opening after the first layer is larger. It disassembles easily for cleaning and drying.
