I love this harness for my 40-ish pound fur baby with the HUGE exception of one of the straps being twisted. I’ve tried to untwist the strap to no avail! This is a strong, sturdy harness otherwise. My baby usually chews whatever I put on her and she can’t chew this one. I’ve also has other ones to just break on us. Hopefully I can get a replacement sent quickly for this one! Even with this issue, I still highly recommend! Great price, great quality!
This harness didn’t even last 3 full months. We walk our 50 lb doodle maybe a mile 3 times/week and the harness about to rip in half. Funny that they mention fade resistant colors when the material itself wouldn’t even last long enough to fade.
I got this for my 1 month old golden retriever. He was able to use it about a month and has since graduated to a bigger size. The way it clips on has been my favorite so far, it's so easy and harness/leash training hasnt been a problem because of it. 10/10!!
I was looking for a harness for our 3 month old Havanese and came across the Frisco step in/back clip harness. While the concept is good, I find the Lupine step-in harness more secure, as our little guy can finagle his way out of the Frisco. That being said, the Frisco will do until Robbie grows enough to fit into the Lupine. I would recommend as a short-term harness.
We just welcomed home our 10 week old Bichon, Coco. I got the extra small. After adjusting, it fits perfectly and I think she will be good with for quite a while with growing left. It’s super comfortable and she moves in it easily without slipping out. I also like where the leash clips - no choking. I got the matching leash and she gets lots of complements on the color.
This is a GREAT harness for small dogs. Mine is 9lbs and it will fit bigger than that also and tightens up good. After adjusting it to him it's no way even if the plastic snap broke he could get lose because it has a metal clip on each side so you clip the both! It is a no choke once you get it adjusted right. He loves it now and it's better than anything going around the neck which are bad for the dogs throat, thyroid and all and you can rest assured they won't get out like how they can back out of a collar. very easy on and off once you get it down pat cause this was my first harness ever and it was hard to find a small one to fit my dog which is so small in the leg chest area. But this one is great and he has pulled it hard and it is good and sturdy too! I love it!
I ordered the wrong size... got a medium but it was too big for our 15 lb. Doxie-poo. Contacted Chewy about a return and they quickly responded. Their customer service is great!!! Got a refund and I already ordered the replacement. This review is based on visual inspection. I did not get to use it, but it is very well made and seems to be sturdy, yet it is lightweight because even though it was big on Mr. Sheffield, he was able to walk in it, which is something he's refused to do with any other harness we have tried. He would just freeze in place until the harness was removed. I'm sure he will do just fine with this one.
My 13 inch beagle is between a small and medium and this harness was easy to adjust for a snug and comfortable fit.
Very well made harness. Durable and heavy duty. Fits well because the size chart was very accurate. We got the beautiful blue color.
I do not recommend them for a small breed dog. I was disappointed in the harnesses. They do not fit well. A small size usually is perfect for my Yorkies. These run larger and are very bulky. The straps are thick and the plastic connectors are large and heavy.
