Huskies are too smart for this

Installed this to keep my senior Husky away from a wooden deck that he has taken to chewing. First day installed, he flipped the bottom “locks,” and was right back

Installed this to keep my senior Husky away from a wooden deck that he has taken to chewing. First day installed, he flipped the bottom “locks,” and was right back to his beaver activities. The handle lock is easily popped. The gate is made tough, but locking mechanisms are plastic and easily breached/broken. Have spent over $1,000 in wood repair SINCE I purchased this gate - almost that much beforehand.

Size is perfect

My dog likes the fact that he can go outside without us. He loves laying in the sun on the porch. However, the fasteners that hold the gate in place do not screw

I have two ways our pups exit the deck, a ramp and stairs so I purchased two of these - SO happy with these gates. Sturdy, adjustable, easy to use. Handle/lock works

I have two ways our pups exit the deck, a ramp and stairs so I purchased two of these - SO happy with these gates. Sturdy, adjustable, easy to use. Handle/lock works great, there are two tabs at the bottom if you need to secure the door more than just closing it. We have had it up for almost three weeks now - two adult golden retrievers and no problems at all. Highly recommend.

This outdoor steel arch extra wide gate is well-made and sturdy. It was easy to install once I looked at the instructions to understand how it works. It comes with multiple side panels you can put together to fit different sized openings, so I was able to fit it snugly to our deck stair opening. It conveniently swings in or out. I'm not fond of the orange-colored opening grip, but that's my only issue with this gate.
