We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size.

Would this fit a standard 42in large dog crate?

The average 42-inch crate measures approximately 42 x 28 x 30 inches. This pet bed would fit inside the crate with its measurement of 34 x 24 x 8 inches.

Cat bed

Bed is larger than expected. It’s soft and comfy however, one of my cats chews the Sherpa. She hasn’t gotten sick from it though. Good price for the bed.

She likes it

This was to replace a similar one that had lost all shape and got a hole. It wasn’t my first pick but my girl loves this bed so we replaced it. It has also now flatten

Perfect size for the 36" metal crate

These beds are plush and soft and while I could wash them, I sew covers for them to easily throw them in the wash and place a back up on the bed so they never have

These beds are plush and soft and while I could wash them, I sew covers for them to easily throw them in the wash and place a back up on the bed so they never have to wait for the dryer. The beds are perfect to throw inside a 36" metal crate. They fit almost like they were designed for them. Each crate has a bed with a cover. This Sherpa bed has lasted well over 4+ years.
