The X-Small measures 8 to 12 inches long and is 3/8 of an inch wide, the Small measures 10 to 14 inches long and is 5/8 of an inch wide, the Medium is 14 to 20 inches long and is 3/4 of an inch wide, and the Large is 18 to 26 inches and is 1 inch wide.

What size collar would fit a 12 lb golden retriever puppy

To get the most accurate size collar for your pet, measure the center of their neck a with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck. Please compare to the size chart below.

Hello, if my 14-27 pound Sheltie pulls on the leash with this collar on, will the buckle BREAK/SNAP or come undone??

Nicely made collar. Strong to hold up for all breeds. The only exception I have is for years I’ve been using a collar that is now discontinued. My past collar was lighter and more flexible which fit my needs. I don’t use this collar with a leash it’s only to hang a tag. Not to take away from this collar’s quality.

This was the perfect collar for my pup. She wore it until she grew out of it. The snap is durable and worked well and it was easy to adjust.

My dog looks great in the royal blue. The clasp is easy to handle, it has a strong metal loop for name tag. Nice collar. More color options please.
