can I use regular bleach on these to sanitize them?

To wash these pads it's recommend to use laundry detergent (no bleach), wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. It is recommended to not use bleach, fabric softener or other similar products as it can affect the absorbency of the pad.

I use these for my kitty. She has decided she doesn't to pee in the litter box. These are awesome. Very absorbent. Just throw them in the washer when needed. Cheaper

I was concerned when I opened them up because they are so lightweight! Boy am I excited by these wonderful pads. They are very absorbent and distribute the moisture

I was concerned when I opened them up because they are so lightweight! Boy am I excited by these wonderful pads. They are very absorbent and distribute the moisture very well. They are much easier to clean in my front load washer they move around much better than the heavy weight pads. I recommend using the Frisco washable pads, you’ll be happy that you found another option at a fair price.

Repurposed

These are nice pads for accidents (elderly pets) but after a few months of repeated washings (I never put them in the dryer) the plastic backing cracks and the pads

These are nice pads for accidents (elderly pets) but after a few months of repeated washings (I never put them in the dryer) the plastic backing cracks and the pads don't contain the urine. Sometimes I put the leaky pads on top of disposable or newer washable pads to protect my floors and prolong the usefulness of the good pads. And when they are too damaged for that, I put them under the pets' food and water bowls.

Poor Absorbency/Pee-Paws

I have a small (~10lbs) senior dog, and her urine puddles up on the surface of all of these instead of soaking in. I bought three 2-packs, so 6 pads that don't absorb

I have a small (~10lbs) senior dog, and her urine puddles up on the surface of all of these instead of soaking in. I bought three 2-packs, so 6 pads that don't absorb fast enough. We've used them all, washed them all, washing didn't change or help the absorbency issue, so returns aren't an option. Three separate packs with the same problem tells me that it likely isn't a one-off issue. Because it doesn't soak in while she's peeing, her feet are soaked in pee and then that's all over the house and I'm cleaning floors and washing the dog. Or, if she has a paw on the edge of the pad while she's using it, the pee runs off the edge, onto her paw, under the pad, all over the floor, under other things nearby... It's a mess. 2 stars because the pee will soak in eventually, I think? We've used washable pee pads for her for over a decade at this point, this is a new problem for us. Are these coated in something? Why won't it absorb?
