I had an elderly cat who just passed away from fatty liver disease. The vet explain to me that not enough moisture in their diet and eating dry food only can cause this. It backed up his intestines and also caused his liver to become an issue. Cats Don't generally drink enough water on their own and outside They tend to catch small game which gives them moisture in their diet. Dry cat food does not give this to them. My remaining cats absolutely love this stuff and I do give them dry food to help keep their teeth healthy but not solely. Have five cats left they seem to like all the flavors. They eat it well. It's reasonably priced .Delivery was fast and packed well.

I use this daily and share a can amongst our 5 senior kitties. They had lost weight just eating dry food. Once I added in Friskies, they kept on weight and even gained some. That keeps them from looking old and thin. The small bits of meat in the Prime Filets helps them eat it all and they love the gravy part! I can't imagine their health without these great flavors and textures.

Even strays won't eat...

Tried this to see if my cats will enjoy a different flavor/texture, but neither of them will eat any of the flavors, won't even lick the gravy and my cats love gravy

Tried this to see if my cats will enjoy a different flavor/texture, but neither of them will eat any of the flavors, won't even lick the gravy and my cats love gravy. Maybe my cats are just very picky, thought I'd not waste and feed it to some strays, but even the hungry stray cats won't touch it, so I can only imagine how bad the quality is. Sad thing is, I do recall purchasing this maybe 6-7 years ago, and my previous other cats did like it, so I can only conclude the quality has gone down drastically.

I always order Pate cat food and the gravy style was sent. I didn't realize it until I opened the first can of food. My cat doesn't do as well with the gravy style

My cat just loves Friskies Prime Fillets so I was concerned years ago when Purina announced they would no longer be producing it. Another source still offers it

My cat just loves Friskies Prime Fillets so I was concerned years ago when Purina announced they would no longer be producing it. Another source still offers it but only in a case of one flavor so I was very happy to see it was offered at the Chewy site in the original box of 24 cans and 8 cans apiece of the original beef, chicken, and turkey. I certainly hope it continues to be offered.

The like how mushy and how small the food morsels are very small.

Lots of gravy. But could still have even more gravy. Some of them have difficulty swallowing unless their food is very, very moist.

Several cans were dented and one was leaking in the box....again.

My cats love the product which is why this gets has a four star rating. The leaks and dented cans are not acceptable. This happens very often. Chewy is very good

My herd of six cats really appreciates the flavors, but sometimes the size of the bits is just too big for them, so I wind up using a spoon to mince up the larger
