The cans are not BPA free however, the steel and aluminum cans have a protective lining that contains very low levels of BPA that are below all state and federal recommended levels and are considered safe for food contact.

Garbage

Cans are dented unusable. The cause is poor packing. They throw one piece of paper in there and expect that to cushion the cans never ordering again.

Seems to be her favorite

I did a month long taste test with different Friskies flavors, keeping track of what she liked most consistently and this won hands down. My complaint is the inconsistency

I did a month long taste test with different Friskies flavors, keeping track of what she liked most consistently and this won hands down. My complaint is the inconsistency in the product with fairly large pieces of the 'meat' which she isn't crazy about. I'm on the 2nd case of 24, and she eats a half can a day, so for now I'm sticking with it.

A 24 can container of Friskies Prime Filets arrived damaged and rotting contents

The container wrapped in plastic had rotting cat food oozing out of one can and the whole case wreaked of rotting flesh. Disgusting. I still can't get the smell

Dented cans

This is nothing against this cat food, it’s a complaint against the shipping packaging. I bought three cases of these filets and three cases of the turkey pate that

This is nothing against this cat food, it’s a complaint against the shipping packaging. I bought three cases of these filets and three cases of the turkey pate that came in a different delivery and a bunch of cans were quite dented in both packages. One of the cans of filets was crushed so much it was opened and needed to be thrown away. It feels risky to give the cats food from dented cans but I can’t afford to throw so many away. I know that it’s possible for them to be properly packed for shipping because I have received plenty of orders where all empty space was filled with special cardboard spacers and none were damaged but this most recent order was not packaged properly. I’m not sure why but my daughter who lives in another state has never had them packaged properly and after many dented and unusable cans she stopped ordering them through chewy. I hope Chewy addresses the inconsistency in packaging so I can keep ordering my canned food through them but I’m not sure how many times I can afford to lose cans to damage.
