This variety contains approximately 2% Fat content on an as fed basis (10% on a dry matter basis), 10% Protein content on an as fed basis (50% on a dry matter basis), 4.1% Carbohydrate content on an as fed basis (20.5% on a dry matter basis) and 0.22% Phosphorus content on an as fed basis (1.1% on a dry matter basis).
Does the canned friskies contain sugar? I was told it does from my vet.

This canned food doesn't contain any added sugar. The full ingredients are: Water Sufficient for Processing, Liver, Wheat Gluten, Meat By-Products, Ocean Fish, Chicken, Corn Starch-Modified, Soy Flour, Tuna, Cheese, Artificial and Natural Flavors, Salt, Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Caseinate, Soybean Oil, Added Color (Red 3 and Other Color), Potassium Chloride, Dried Whey, Taurine, Choline Chloride, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Sorbic Acid (a Preservative), Niacin, Calcium Pantothenate, Copper Sulfate, Vitamin A Supplement, Manganese Sulfate, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (Source of Vitamin K Activity), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Biotin, Folic Acid, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Potassium Iodide.
