Is it good for older dogs

Our dog is an 11 year old rottie rescue who loves this bed. It has held up really well. I highly recommend it.
Our bed zipper is not working anymore and cannot be zipped back up to cover the bed. Can we get another cover only?

The sleep surface dimensions are the best measurement to determine if your pet will fit well on the bed. The Small measures 20 x 15 x 6.5 inches with a sleep surface of 15.5 x 12 x 3 inches. The Medium measures 30 x 20 x 7.5 inches with a sleep surface of 22 x 15.75 x 3 inches. The Large measures 36 x 27 x 8.5 inches with a sleep surface of 27 x 22 x 3 inches, the Jumbo measures 44 x 35 x 10.5 inches with a sleep surface of 32 x 29 x 4 inches, and the Jumbo Plus measures 44 x 35 x 10.5 inches with a sleep surface of 40 x 36 inches x 5 inches.
Is medical grade orthopedic foam the same as memory foam

Othopedic foam is not the same as memory foam and they are not interchangeable terms. This orthopedic foam is a medical-grade, egg-crate foam. The egg-crate style foam provides massaging foam fingers and airflow for a more restorative sleep.

highly recommend

Our Otis had to be crated during heart worm treatment and this bed was a life saver. Kept him comfortable and it washes well. A year and a half later it still looks good. The steroids he was on made him temporarily incontinent so we put a pee pad within the cover. We still had to wash the cover, but kept the foam bedding protected. Purchased two of these beds and kept switching them out for daily washing and airing. We could not put a pee pad on top because as he moved around it would just get wrinkled up and pushed to the side. It was very helpful to put it within the cover. Highly recommended.

It's so-so

Mastiff who is 165 lbs write this out pretty fast. He did like it so it might be worth getting another just to stack them on top of each other for squish against the floor. He fits as long as he doesn't stretch out, but his paws hang off just just a little bit. As a giant breed owner this is common for me to find things big enough for him.

Happy Dog!

I’ve had this pet bed for quite awhile, so now I think it’s time to write a review! When my dog is not cuddled up with me on the couch, or in bed she enjoys her pet bed. She usually curls up on her pet bed when I’m cleaning the house, or cooking dinner (when she’s not under my feet.) It’s very comfortable, even my toddler niece fell asleep on it.

Pretty good

My dog and I are pretty happy with the new dog beds. The only complaint I have is that the bumps of the orthopedic mattress are quite pronounced. At first my dog hesitated getting on the beds. She's OK with it now.

Furhaven Dog Beds

Bought 2 of these beds for my huskies. They love them! Really love that the cover is washable especially with spring shedding starting! Very sturdy too they have not lost their shape at all.

nice but a bit small for “jumbo”

I’m quite pleased with this bed that I purchased for my dogs. I think you get what you pay for, it’s not the highest quality in the world but it also certainly didn’t break the bank either. My boys seem to really enjoy it and I like the feeling of the bed and think it’ll be very comfortable them. The only thing I would say though is it’s definitely not “jumbo” in my opinion :) I would say it’s large, but in my opinion jumbo should my medium and my large dog comfortably and it just barely fits both of them. But, good thing they like to snuggle! I would buy this again.

Big Boy Love It!

We have a very tall, 70lb Pyrenees mix who is quite picky about his bed. We recently rescued a little girl who immediately stole his Furhaven bed. We panicked. I knew I had to get another Furhaven bed and he loves his new one even more! This one is even more cushy than his old one. Nothing but Furhaven beds for us! We even have one in in the back of my Outback for car rides.

Bed is so wonderful

My English bulldog loves her beds and especially this one. She sleeps in at night instead of coming in my bedroom and sleeping under the bed like she used to.

Her first ortho bed…when we adopted her she always got a pillow bed because she would shred them but we’ve had her for 3 years now and she was due for an upgrade…we got her a size large bed she’s a pit/cattle dog mix & 60 lbs

Decent bed for the $$

We bought this as a bed to put in our 90lb dog's crate. It's cushy and he loves it! Being able to take the cover off is a bonus. The fabric is a little on the thin side, so if your dog is a digger, this might not be the one for them.
