Does this Furminator Help?

I can't tell if it helps reduce shedding or not. I tried it awhile and cats fuss so re the wiping and I groom them every few days. Not an easy task, now that taking

Smells good

But sadly Salem who is part Maine Coon the hair fell out by his tail Deja whom also is part Maine coon had a itch fest afterwards so I’m Not really going to use

Smells Better

I don’t particularly like the packaging so I utilized zip lock baggies and they were easier to pull out and not trigger flight by JJ

Don’t work

These are just baby wipes that smell good. Nothing “deshedding” about them except the cat does not appear to shed while drying off. They do smell nice though.

Worthless

Fragrance does not work with cats! Tried to use 1 wipe on 1 cat. Both could smell it and ran away. Tried to try again and as I was trying to pull a wipe out they

Fragrance does not work with cats! Tried to use 1 wipe on 1 cat. Both could smell it and ran away. Tried to try again and as I was trying to pull a wipe out they were both gone before the wipe was even out of it's package. Please make an unscented wipe so I can try again.

Surfactants!

Some Surfactants are harmful and some apparently are not. I messaged Furminator to see what kinds of surfactants my almost 20 year old cat would be licking off of

Some Surfactants are harmful and some apparently are not. I messaged Furminator to see what kinds of surfactants my almost 20 year old cat would be licking off of her fur and they acknowledged my inquiry but then never bothered to answer the question. This confirmed my concerns and I will be returning their deshedding wipes to Chewy. Chewy was responsive, Furminator was not.
