My dogs tend to be indiscriminate with what they'll eat, but this product unfortunately did not go over well at all. I was so disappointed because the ingredient list is solid and this would have been a convenient alternative to traditional liquid bone broths. One of the dogs ate part of his food reluctantly and the other wouldn't touch the kibble with the food topper on it. We tried diluting it with water in case it was too concentrated or strong for their palate, and they still wouldn't have anything to do with it. The consistency is thick but the smell isn't strong or polarizing, so it's got to be a flavor issue. The nutrient panel, concept and company all seem solid so I don't know what the issue is! Great in theory but unfortunately bombed in practice with my dogs.

My dogs get ‘broth’ with every meal, so we were excited to try this product. There’s a range of water to liquid directions to dilute it, and it took a little to find what my dogs preferred. I have a very picky older boxer and a 2 year old. They seem to enjoy it now, as they aren’t walking away from their food. We had to try a couple of times to find the right mix. If you don’t mind mixing l and storing the now 2 containers (the concentrated product and the now diluted one) in your fridge, this is a solid option for broth.

But it's nice to have the benefit of helping mobility. This adds to their love of food!

I have two golden doodles with very different personalities. I mixed the bone broth with water and poured it on their kibble. My younger doodle loves it. She ate the entire bowl and licked it clean. My older doodle refused to even try it. She is a very picky eater so I am not we can trust her opinion. I like that the broth has ingredients that help with joint health. I would recommend this product.

My dogs LOVE this! They try to lick the bottle anytime I get it out of the fridge :). Super easy to make a little "gravy" for their food. We usually share a bit of our dinner with them (when we're done eating and putting dishes in the machine) but when we have something they can't have...or went out to dinner and forgot to bring them a bite, this is a great substitute treat for them. I'm sure it would be wonderful to mix powdered or liquid meds into too.

I used the Broth Food Topper with my 14+ year old English Jack Russell Terrier. She's about 10# so I gave her 1 tsp mixed with 1/4 cup of water and mixed it with her kibble. She ate it right up. It did seem to make her thirstier than normal. There wasn't a frequency on the package so I am going to use it every other day for 1 of her 2 feedings. She doesn't currently have mobility issues but at her age I want to head any off before they start.
