About Fussie Cat

Co-Created by Cats

Instead of just assuming what kind of food cats will like, Fussie Cat lets them call the shots. Each recipe is co-created and taste-tested by cats to make sure your own kitty will love it. Aside from being highly palatable, Fussie Cat wet and dry foods are full of quality meats like boneless chicken, duck, tuna, shrimp and prawns to make sure your little carnivore is getting the protein-rich, feline-appropriate diet she needs.

Made for Meat Lovers

If there's one thing cats crave, it's the rich taste of pure meat. It makes sense, because they're obligate carnivores. Your four-legged friend probably lets you know exactly what she likes, and it's sure to be fish, poultry or meat. Fussie Cat has farm-raised poultry, ocean fish from the South Pacific, and a whole range of interesting seafood options like Threadfin Bream, smoked tuna, mussels, clams and anchovies.

Physiologically Correct Diets

Knowing that cats need meat protein to survive, Fussie Cat developed formulas that they call Physiologically Correct. As true carnivores, their bodies are extremely efficient in processing meat, so 20% of their diet should come from animal proteins. Fussie Cat's foods start with meat, are low in carbs and include a complete spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. You can be sure your kitty's getting all the necessary amino acids, protein and other nutrients.

Kitty's Choice

With two canned food lines and several tempting dry food options, your cat can always have the dinner she prefers. Fussie Cat Premium is a tuna-based menu that pairs this popular fish with chicken or seafood delicacies. Super Premium is made for chicken lovers with boneless chicken, low sodium levels and plenty of omegas. Market Fresh dry foods are crunchy and delicious, with proteins full of vitamin B12, and antioxidant-rich cranberries and blueberries.

Outstanding Quality Control

Fussie Cat makes their top-quality foods in an FDA-registered kitchen—the same kitchen that produces canned food that's fit for people to eat. Thorough quality inspections are conducted daily for food safety, heavy metals, pathogens, contamination and pesticides, so the end product is everything that you should expect it to be.

About Fussie Cat

Fussie Cat uses a carnivore-friendly, meat-first philosophy to provide wholesome meals that are full of the animal proteins your cat needs to thrive. Meat is always the main course, and carbohydrates only appear in limited amounts. They've created recipes that not only pass the strictest international food safety tests, but also kitty taste tests with flying colors. Cats from all corners of the U.S. will find all their favorites in Fussie Cat's Market Fresh dry foods and flavorful wet foods.

Mission Success

I struggled with a long time my cat due to her having food sensitivity. For about a year I switched her off hard food all together and only to wet food because she was constantly throwing it back up. Or should I say regurgitating because she wouldn't even process the food, and even with the wet food she would still regurgitate. I used slow feeder bowls and tried everything I could but nothing really seemed to work. After doing a lot of research I came across this brand and felt very hopeful. And she seems to like it and it sits well with her stomach more importantly. She hasn't regurgitated once. I do switch off using wet food as well so she doesn't get too bored eating dry food everyday (I also use tiki cat's wet food and she loves that too.) but I would say I trust this brand with my cat and I think it's a 10/10.

Great Product

8 year old cat chronic IB issues. Only food that she’s been able to eat. Life saver! Please keep in stock! After years of switching diets to avoid proteins (chicken, fish etc) we finally have a winner!

Not a Hit for My Cats

I have two rather picky cats who grow tired of their food quickly, so I'm constantly on the hunt for new flavors/combos/foods that they may like. Since this brand is called Fussie Cat, and I've never fed them anything quail flavored before, I was optimistic about this food! Unfortunately it wasn't a hit. One cat ate it a little and the other (pickier) one didn't even touch it.

Very good but expensive

My cat was eating the chicken meal and salmon but her breath was bad so I switched her to this and I really like it, it’s just a little pricey

Quail and Duck meal

Put off by the title with the word MEAL in it. The cats liked the smaller kibble. They chowed this down. Recommend mixing it in with older food to avoid diarrhea.

Duck Dry Cat Food

Bought this for my cat that has extreme skin sensitivities. We pulled away from pork, fish, beef. Only duck, quail, rabbit, etc. This was the first dry cat food were found and he really seems to enjoy it. No complaints so far or any issues.

No Chicken!

My cat eats this with gusto and keeps it down. There's no chicken in this food. No pinto beans, lentils, or garbanzo beans to be found. Fussie Cat is not perfect, but it's better than the other choices out there. My kitty is very happy with this brand.

Fussie cat rules!

We rely on Fussie cat duck/quail market fresh (and duck/chicken premium canned) for our daily meals over here. Novel proteins are preferred and the grain-free is thumbs up. Please keep up the good work for our tails Fussie Cat!

Loved it At First...Then Turned Their Noses Up

It's really difficult finding foods that don't contain chicken and are still somewhat affordable, and as all three of my fur-children eat out of each others' bowls, it's impossible to just feed the one with the chicken allergy special food while the other two eat something else. The first bag of this food went over very well with all three of my babies, even my female who is a bit pickier than her younger brothers. It was a good thing that only the 2lb bag was available this time, because they started turning ignoring it, and only reluctantly eating it when they were super hungry. I transitioned them to a different flavor, which I had purchased at the same time, but I can tell they're not totally in love with the brand. Might have to go back to drawing board.
