Most amazing is being able to get life-changing pain medications into my nearly 15YO head-strong Cattle Dog who absolutely refuses to cooperate when it comes to taking pills or capsules. Fighting oral medication has been a life-long battle she always wins.. She even gives veterinarians grief! She has been very accepting of the meds in liquid form. A bit of pumpkin puree, tuna fish, cat food, or plain yogurt provides extra encouragement when necessary. Getting the meds into her are the difference between a happy, affectionate, even playful senior doggie, and having to say goodbye to her before her time. Pain management gives her quality of life and these liquid medications make that possible.

Appreciate the larger bottle

I was getting a smaller-sized bottle at my local vet, so having one that is more than double the size means I don't need refills as often. I've noticed the syringe

I was getting a smaller-sized bottle at my local vet, so having one that is more than double the size means I don't need refills as often. I've noticed the syringe sometimes goes further into the bottle than it's supposed to if I push a little too hard (didn't have that problem with Fluoxetine which was in the same type of bottle). I also noticed my cat seems to gag more with this version compared to the one from my vet's office. May just be a coincidence, though, as the contents may be identical.

Good service, good product

Ginger has arthritis and needs gabapentin to feel relatively comfortable. Sometimes it hurts her to crouch down, so when she pees it goes outside the litter box!!!

Ginger has arthritis and needs gabapentin to feel relatively comfortable. Sometimes it hurts her to crouch down, so when she pees it goes outside the litter box!!! Gabapentin helps her be able to crouch down to pee, thank goodness!!! Chewy made it easy to order. The, ,e, connected quickly with our veterinarian to get the prescription.

Was a Great Idea

We were running out of ways to get our kitty to take her pill. When the vet told us about the flavored medication we thought it sounded great. Turns out she didn’t

We were running out of ways to get our kitty to take her pill. When the vet told us about the flavored medication we thought it sounded great. Turns out she didn’t like it at all. We’ve now discovered that we can grind a pill and mix it with a squeeze up treat and she will take it.

Slimey/ very strong chicken smell

I wonder if they changed suppliers. One clue is the shape of the bottle changed. My dog no longer likes it and I have to work hard to get her to take it. It also has a strong smell that it never had before, instead of the barely noticeable chicken smell when it came in the other bottles. I’m so sad and considering finding a new supplier.

I ordered the chicken-flavored compounded Gabapentin hoping it would make medication time easier for my dog. Unfortunately, the flavor didn’t help at all. She refused it just like she does with the regular Gabapentin, so it didn’t meet my expectations. I really wanted this to be a better option for her, but the taste was still a struggle.

She hates new formula

Unfortunately the new in house compound of this medication is not being tolerated by Rosie. She throws it up every time. Might look into the previous compound pharmacy

Cannot get my dog to take pills

It is really difficult for me to get my dog to take a pill. I can hide it and peanut butter, cheese, it doesn't matter he will eat everything and then spit the pill

It is really difficult for me to get my dog to take a pill. I can hide it and peanut butter, cheese, it doesn't matter he will eat everything and then spit the pill out. This liquid makes it so easy and he doesn't seem to mind it I think he might even like it.
