Where are the gamma to vittles Vault made USA?

Please confirm the dimensions of the 40lb container. The video says one size and the description another. Thank you.

The dimensions for the 40 pound container are: length 20.1 inches, width 12.0 inches and height 16.7 inches and has a capacity of approximately 9.9 Gallons​. The dimensions for the 60 pound container are: length 22.5 inches, width 14.5 inches and height 19 inches and has a capacity of approximately 16.1 Gallons​.

Do these containers outgas a plastic smell? I ask because my current storage containers are adding a nasty plastic smell to my dog’s food. When we get down near the bottom of the container, he doesn’t want to eat the food, and even I can smell the odor.

I’ve had one like this before. I like them a lot. Very durable. But two things with this one. First, it didn’t fit 38lb of Purina ProPlan, even though it says it can hold 40lbs of dry food. The other thing is now the lid comes with a rubber seal that is supposed to keep it airtight. After a few days, the seal came out of its track and became useless. In my opinion, the lid closes tightly even without the seal, but I was disappointed that it didn’t last.

Trust me, I've bought several "airtight" dog food containers over the years, but none compare to the Gamma2 Vault. It is the only one that is truly airtight AND prevents your dog from opening the lid. I've purchased three of these vaults in the last 20 years and they all work perfectly. I gave away 2 of them after my labs passed (of course each lab had allergies and ate different food). Immediately purchased another as soon as we adopted our new dog. In case the manufacturer reads reviews - Please make these available in black or some other attractive color - the gray plastic is just ugly and unsightly if you don't have a closet to hide it inside.

Okay containter but not raccoon proof

It says that this container will hold up to 40 pounds but it did not hold a 40 lb bag of Diamond dog food without spilling a pound or so. Unfortunatley, the portion

It says that this container will hold up to 40 pounds but it did not hold a 40 lb bag of Diamond dog food without spilling a pound or so. Unfortunatley, the portion of food spilled out in the carport was consumed by a few raccoons that discovered the spilled food during the night. Now, the raccoons have figured out how to open the container to get some food out.

I have had a few of these for years. They are made really well EXCEPT for the huge O-ring that seals between the container and the screw on lid. These two are a touch too big and fall off every time you open or close the lid. It takes several tries to get it to stay in place while screwing the lid on.

Great confined storage

These storage bins are perfect, they take up so much less room when you have high volumes of product to store. Prior to these bins I was using large the 60 gallon

These storage bins are perfect, they take up so much less room when you have high volumes of product to store. Prior to these bins I was using large the 60 gallon cans that took up a lot of space, now I can stack them and they hardly come out from the wall. Great product.

As a single unit these are great. Stackable in the sense that they are flat but too flimsy to actually stack without considerable reinforcement. Holds wayyyyyyy

A little disappointed

I do like that these close tight and keep the food fresh, but I put a 40 lb bag of dog food in here and it is packed to the brim making it really hard to open and

I do like that these close tight and keep the food fresh, but I put a 40 lb bag of dog food in here and it is packed to the brim making it really hard to open and scoop food out. I do wish they left some room for scooping and opening. Also, it says these are stackable, they are not. I stacked a 40lb on top of a 60 lb and the 60 lb collapsed underneath it.

Problem with the lid

The lid has a plastic ring around it to make it moisture proof I guess. The rubber ring falls off every time I open the container. Its too lose and wont stay
