Where is this food made? Where are the ingredients sourced?

Petcurean dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. Our canned products are primarily produced in Ontario, Canada and secondarily at a plant in New Jersey, USA. The NOW FRESH stews and pâtés are made in Wisconsin, USA. Our SPIKE Jerky treats are manufactured in Georgia, USA. Our GO! Meal Mixers are manufactured in British Columbia, Canada. All of the meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in our GO! SOLUTIONS, NOW FRESH and GATHER products are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible) with the exception of the pasture raised lamb and grass fed venison which is sourced from Australia and New Zealand (from EU certified plants).

I noticed the 3.5 lb bag is Velcro-sealed. Are the 12 lb and 22 lb also Velcro-sealed?

My dog eats well

My dog is very picky eater. She eats GO! Solution well. We still need to put a topper on it to get primed. Great coat and energy.

Great dog food

My 2 big dogs are both allergic to chicken..Which makes finding a healthy dry food tough as so many have chicken in them or they sneak in chicken broth in fine print.

My 2 big dogs are both allergic to chicken..Which makes finding a healthy dry food tough as so many have chicken in them or they sneak in chicken broth in fine print.. Chicken turns my girls poops to mush..Go solutions in most all the different flavors, they not only love but keeps their poops perfect and they go twice a day.. I am not a fan of grain-free because dogs need grain for healthy hearts, but I wanted to try the lamb and wild boar so I put Nutra Complete on top so they get the grain. Combo has proven to work great and my girls are healthy and happy and so am I.

MAYBE NOT BEST FOR SMALL DOGS

The size of the kibble seems larger than any dog food I've purchased for my dogs in the past and is a bit of a challenge especially for my Chinese Crested who has

The size of the kibble seems larger than any dog food I've purchased for my dogs in the past and is a bit of a challenge especially for my Chinese Crested who has a small bone structure and tiny, delicate teeth. For that reason alone, I would not purchase this dog food again. I did try adding some water to the food thinking it might result in gravy making it slightly easier for them to eat as the kibble softened but the result wasn't gravy and the kibble softened into a mushy substance. I ended up scraping it out of their bowls. Adding it to canned dog food worked best but defeated the purpose of going to dry dog food only.

9 years in and have FINALLY found the perfect food!

My 9 year old Lab/Pitt mix has had food allergies his whole life. Thought I had it narrowed down to the most common allegies, poultry, beef, grain, wheat, etc. BUT

My 9 year old Lab/Pitt mix has had food allergies his whole life. Thought I had it narrowed down to the most common allegies, poultry, beef, grain, wheat, etc. BUT with his current food I had been feeding him for the last year he still had what looked like dandruff constantly. So I did more research and found potato as a common allergy, which his food had as an ingredient. So back to a tedious 3 hour long search through foods that met my criteria. Took a gamble with a Lamb/boar food (previously I put him on a fish dry food) and the results have been IMMEDIATE and AMAZING!! No more flakes! Beautiful complete formed pools, and his energy level has skyrocketed! Long story short, listen to your instincts, it may take time, it may take 4 or 5 different foods before you find the right one but stick with it! His comfort and health are as important to me as my children's, and we have our furbabies for such a small time!! Thank you for taking the time to read my whole review and thank you Chewy for stocking this food and so many other great wholesome and healthy options! We love Chewy!
