Optimum Levels of Omega-3

Annamaet formulas include marine microalgae, a stable and sustainable natural ingredient that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Their recipes are also fortified with DHA, a key omega-3 fatty acid that is important for canine brain health and skin and coat health.

Are these hard or soft? My senior dog has dental issues.

Answer by ChewyJan 23, 2022
This variety is a crunchy kibble. Due to your pets specific health concern, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be the safest fit for your pets current treatment plan.

My Lucy girl was paralyzed and although she recovered enough to walk WAHOO she remained bowel incontinent. I learned how to manually stimulate and keep her on a poop schedule and she is thriving and we are a happy family. Annamaet food was a game changer because its low residual content allowed more of the food to be fully digested rather than acting as a filler that simply produced more waste. She also LOVES it and her little wonky legs get her to food bowl pretty quickly at meals. It’s really excellent food.

So soft

My dog likes the flavor and her coat got softer a few weeks after I started feeding it to her. She seems very happy and healthy on it.

Trying to find a quality kibble both my senior dogs will eat other than Open Farm and my 1 picky eater refuses to eat it. I've tried adding beef flakes, and other goodies but he just eats around it. Back to open farm til I can find something better and cheaper. Think I'll try Blackwood next..

We had switched from Annamaet Lean to Senior Dry dog food due to our boy being 15 years old. He seems to like it better since was becoming picky about his breakfast, plus the Senior food gives him more nutrients he now needs. I usually put a little cheese or crumbles treat on top, to entice him to start to eat. To round out his diet, we only feed him this for breakfast--for dinner he gets either homemade food or Just Food For Dogs. Gotta spoil the old boy!!

When our vet said it was time to switch my boy over to a senior diet because it would help with some medical issue he was having I began my search. Finding something without chicken and something that followed my/our vets criteria was hard (Cannon has a sensitivity to chicken and we also needed something grain inclusive, low phosphorus, low sodium, etc.) I came across Annamaet and after researching the company, looking at the ingredients and asking feedback in a dog food group on FB I was confident that out of the few options I looked at Annamaet Senior Original Recipe was the best choice for my boy. The protein levels are a little high but it’s not a deal breaker. My boy does really well on this food and seems to enjoy it. It’s reasonably priced and I like the self sealing bags. Thank you for creating a great quality food!

I was looking for a senior food with no chicken for our shepherd, she was losing too much weight so we needed a high protein food and this is the perfect fit. She had lost down to 48 and normally should weigh 60. She is now at 55 pounds and her skin and coat look great!! So glad we made the switch
