Crushed to Bits

Cheese is a high value treat for us when training, and I switched brands to this to give them a shot since I’ve seen the brand all over social media. Incredibly disappointed with what I’ve received. Sure, it’s cheese. It smells pretty good/strong. The dog seems to like what he can eat. But it’s ALL crushed. I purchased other freeze dried treats in the same order and none of them came crushed, but this one is basically just dust. I have a 75 lb dog, dust doesn’t work very well. I’ll likely just keep it for his lick mats, but I’m disappointed it came down to that.

I was looking forward to receiving the Muenster Perfect Balance Freeze Dried Cheese Bites. Our Girls LOVE cheese. AND they’re made in USA. The ingredient list is

I was looking forward to receiving the Muenster Perfect Balance Freeze Dried Cheese Bites. Our Girls LOVE cheese. AND they’re made in USA. The ingredient list is short- milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes, coloring and cellulose to prevent caking. The Bites easily passed their taste test, and actually I tasted it too. Yes, they Do taste like cheddar cheese! Just freeze-dried. My Only issue is that they are supposed to be “bite-sized easy to feed cubes”. The “cubes” are more like minced pieces, most too small to feed by hand. I’ve been using it as a topper on their meals, a bit of tasty garnish. If the cube sizing issueis resolved I’ll definitely give this product 5 stars.

My dogs love this stuff. I actually have been using it to train my puppy. He pays close attention when I'm holding one of these cheese cubes. My other dogs love them as well. I did get more crumble than actual cubes though, which was disappointing. But I've been sprinkling the crumbs over this food, so it's not going to waste.

Even our German shepherd, who didn't know what a treat (or toy) was when we adopted her last year but quickly turned into a treat tasting judge loves them.

Maverick does love the taste for sure, however as a "treat" it doesn't work very well, as most of the bits are so finely crumbled up. I had to resort to just topping
