Feeding Instructions
Begin feeding SPORTMiX Puppy Small Bites dry or moistened at 3 - 4 weeks of age or as soon as your puppy begins chewing on solid foods. To serve moistened, combine 11/2 of food with 1 cup of warm water. Mix until well moistened and soft. Allow your puppy to eat 4 times a day for about 15 - 20 minutes until he reaches 3 months of age. From 3 - 6 months of age, feed your puppy all he will eat 3 times a day. Gradually reduce feedings to a single daily feeding from 6 months of age to a year. The amount of food you give your puppy will vary depending on breed, size and activity level. Have clean fresh water available at all times.
Transition Instructions
On days 1 & 2 of the change, you should have plenty of your pet's old food left. Fill the bowl with 3 quarters of the old food, and one quarter of SPORTMiX. On days 3 & 4, add in another quarter, so you have half old food, half SPORTMiX. On days 5 & 6, mix one quarter old food and 3 quarters SPORTMiX. In only 7 days, your pet will be on an all-new diet of SPORTMiX.

Pups love it!
My two 10-week old puppies love this food and are doing really great on it! My picky 1.5yr old also loves it! (Which is surprising, he usually will only eat something once or twice before he turns his nose up.) Great value and good quality.

It’s amazing for all ages! It’s does fill them up faster with less! N all the dogs even the cats loves it! N the price is great to! I just wished they would make a bigger bag like come on already make a bigger bag!
Not recommending
My puppies would not eat this food. I tried to feed it to my adults and they would not touch it. Would not recommend.
Sportmix rejected
I have been trying different puppy food for Sawyer but he doesn't seem to like the sportmix.. Another rejected food.

Got a rescue Pyrenees who was 80 and skin and bones. Would not eat anything but bacon. Tried this food as recommended by a breeder friend and he is now 115 pounds and eats well every day. Been using this for years. He is at least 10. Had several puppies on it too. Like the small size and they eat it with or without additions.
Great Quality
Very happy with this food. My puppy has gone through many many brands and this is one she likes and doesn’t have any issues with. The pieces are very small which is great for all types of dogs. I really like that this is a brand made in the US. Also loved that you can read the ingredient list and know what things are without having to do tons of research.
Excellent dry food for a puppy
Purchased this brand due to needing a high protein food for my growing puppy who is a Belgian Malinois. He loved it. He will eat it dry or mixed in with a wet food pouch just in the evening. He poops regularly and stools are normal. What was so amazing is my 10 year old large dog some German Shepherd and another mixed breed ate it dry and he has never wanted or liked any other dry brand that I have offered him in the 10 years. Perhaps if I had found this earlier his teeth wouldn’t be so bad today. So, I bought it for my special breed Belgian Malinois he loved it and my older mixed breed loves it as well. I’m very happy with the food, the super fast delivery and best of all Chewy for supplying my household food for 3 dogs and 16 cats. I can always depend on Chewy!!!!!!

Please purchase another brand of dog food! I woke up to SEVERAL articles about 3 specific kinds of food from this brand that the FDA is warning about citing 28 dogs have DIED and 8 dogs SICKENED. "Samples of the products contained "very high levels" of aflatoxin, the FDA said." Please be careful. Even though they only have 3 kinds recalled right now, I wouldn't feed my pet ANY kind from this brand.
