Great supplement, very happy

We got this for our pup to help with joint issues. She’s been battling MPL, so she’s getting this and Dasuquin daily. She tolerates it really well. No GI issues even at a therapeutic dose, which is higher than the label recommendations. As an added bonus, her fur has never been softer.

Product does seem to help as advertised

However, it says to use a "half of pump" for smaller cats. How does one measure a "half of pump?"

My vetrinarian suggested that I supplement my cat's diet with Omega 3; ideally meant to help with her dry skin. He suggested Welactin, but I chose this product because I trusted Vetoquinol. Unfortunately, even when given in less than recommended dosing amounts, my cat immediately suffers from diarrhea. It is rare that I the time to write reviews, but thought it was important to share this information in case it proactively prevented other cats from suffering a similar fate.

I originally was prescribed this from my vet for my cats dry/flaky skin. It works wonder on her long triple coat. After realizing it can be purchased online, I bought it again but this time I also gave it to my dogs (8 YO Belgian Malinois and 6 month old Great Dane/Black Lab/Pit mix) because they’ve been itching/chewing on themselves lately. After a few days the itching & chewing noticeably decreased. After a couple weeks both symptoms were pretty much nonexistent! I’ll be purchasing another bottle before this one runs out.

Miracle stuff!

I have 6 dogs all sizes 10 pound up to 70 pounds. 3 - have had terrible allergies, so they have lived on Apoquel for years. Then put 2 of them on Cytopoint

I have 6 dogs all sizes 10 pound up to 70 pounds. 3 - have had terrible allergies, so they have lived on Apoquel for years. Then put 2 of them on Cytopoint shots. So my vet recommended this Vetoquinol, so I ordered and put everyone on it. All 6 of them. The ones with allergies that sat scratching all the time, skin looked terrible, we had tried shampoos, topical everything - after about a month on this stuff, none of them were scratching anymore. Their skin cleared up, hair grew back and it has been over a year and not one of them has needed one Apoquel or Cytopoint shot. I have not seen ONE scratch at all. Now I had tried other Omega's like salmon oil - etc. and they did not work. This was crazy to me. I saw that Vetoquinal put D3 in theirs, and that must be the secret ingredient, is all I can think of. When they stopped producing it for awhile, I had a fit. Called them and they were trying to find a new manufacturer. So took awhile to restock, but I was everywhere trying to find it - because what it has done for all my dogs is short of a miracle, with their shiny hair, skin, no scratching, no misery on their part. And Apoquel and Cytopoint isn't the cheapest stuff on the market and with the 3 dogs on it - it was taking a toll on our wallets. I love the pump for the little dogs - and the big dogs have no problem with the gel caps. Dropped in their food - they don't know they have woofed it down. I'm indebted to the Vet that recommended I try it and to Vetoquinal . My newest pup - I started him on it about 8 months old.
