I have a 220 lb mastiff who is 5 yrs old. No mobility issues yet but was told this supplement was something to consider starting now. Question I have is for large dog it says 1 tablet daily. Is this the same for freakishly huge dogs like mine? Still only 1 per day?

Yes, 1 is enough. If your dog has not been diagnosed yet for hips ( in vet notes) then buy pet insurance now and never let it lapse cause insurance company won't re-insue you for prior prior hip dysplasia. Hips vet bills are very expensive. Insurance will pay back for vet billß prescription meds, food and vitamins. At one point the insurance company was payng us back more than our monthly bills! ( They caught on:-( )

My dog fractured his leg when he was 2 years old and was experiencing a lot of lameness and I’ve always been concerned about this joints in general, collies are prone to joint issues. Every vet recommended a supplement with Glucosamine in it which my dog reacted badly to each time. I switched vets and he prescribed this - This does not contain Glucosamine so I was so excited. Within a couple weeks he was jumping on my bed! I’m on my fourth bottle and will keep buying. So thankful the vet recommended this product!

Dog wont eat it

My hungry hippo wont eat it... not mixed with food, wrapped in cheese, coated in cream cheese (which almost always works)... nothing. but then i tried crushing

My hungry hippo wont eat it... not mixed with food, wrapped in cheese, coated in cream cheese (which almost always works)... nothing. but then i tried crushing the chew and mashing it into liverwurst and got him to eat it.. alot of work. hope it actually helps him, too soon to notice results. may not be for very picky eaters

And it has good ingredients in it I asked Chewy about return policy prior to purchasing as I had already spent money one other ones he wouldn’t touch. Gracie was being treated for apparent hip pain. We’d had her on an anti inflammatory med, but the ver said that we couldn’t keep her on it any longer. She recommended your product. The improvement in Gracie’s mobility is unbelievable! I think her fur is even smoother and thicker. (Unfortunately I think it gives her more to shed). We started our other chihuahua mix on it. I was shocked at how much it helped!!

Like any Dog parent, I would try anything to help my guys. But these are just another scam supplement that does nothing. These companies prey on Dog lovers who would do anything to help their beloved dogs. And I wish they would help, I honestly do. But they don't. It absolutely amazes me when I see all of these supplements have 4.7, 4.8, 4.9 stars. I suspect the placebo effect is working big time on pet parents.
