Not for us but perfect for dogs who actually chew
These were recommended by a friend for my shih tzu who doesn't know how to chew things up. Not long ago she ended up in the ER with a hard treat, swallowed whole, stuck in her eaophagus. Now I'm on the hunt for a treat that keeps her busy chewing but she can't break or swallow. This was gone within 5 minutes so I don't think this is the one. They are too hard for eating, not intended for that.

Senior Dog Approved
My 11-year-old Am Bully/Lab mix has the jaw strength of an alligator, and we all love these treats. It lasts for about 10 mins, and she goes to town. She has no problems breaking these down; they do not upset her ridiculously sensitive Bully GI tract. We switched to these when our other brand stopped making her favorite carrot chews, and I am happy that we stumbled upon these. Thank you for making such a great product.

Clean teeth!
As far as dental chews go, C.E.T. are by far the best. I give my girls these or the enzymatic chews every few days, and definitely see a difference in the tartar. Wish these lasted longer, but they really like them.

They're okay!
I got these to try because my dummy of a dog choked on the CET rawhide chips when he tried to swallow the end piece whole. (And I wish I was exaggerating the choking part, I actually had to give my dog the Heimlich 😬.) Anyway, I thought I'd try these veggie CET's and although he isn't choking on these, he does break them apart very easily and they only last a few seconds with him. So the teeth cleaning part isn't really happening with these. These would probably be better for a small to medium size dog instead of a large breed to get the actual teeth cleaning benefits.

Vet recommended
My vet recommended the Virbac brand. I brush my dog's teeth daily and give her a dental chew every day for over a year now, and there has been no issue so far.

Not impressed
I thought I'd try these for our adult Lab, Brady, and his 10 month old Golden Retriever sibling, Wally. Both boys chewed them up soon fast I can't imagine they were effective at cleaning anything. Wally had loose stools for 2 days after. Brady has a similar reaction to Greenies a while back. We'll stick to daily brushing. YMMV

Favorite Treats of All Time
My two dogs, a 70+lb mix and 60+lb GSP love these things! They both have much better breath and enjoy them each day!

Dog loves it!
My dog can't have regular meat products, so this is the choice for treats that clean teeth. Because of the cost, I actually bought the large dog size (my dog weighs 14 lbs), and cut them all in half to double the treats. He gets one every day and loves them. I just had his teeth cleaned last year, but the vet says he's a breed that gets tartar fast. Since we've been using the treats, I don't think it's gotten any worse.
border collie loves!
These were recommended by our veterinarian who specializes in dentistry and oromaxillofacial surgery. Apparently they have seen a lot of dogs break teeth on bones (ex Himalayan salt bones) & thus they recommended this brand for dogs dental health. Our border collie loves them. Yes they are expensive, but fixing a broken tooth is a lot more expensive. Highly recommend!
This is the best dental sticks out there!
I have tried many dental sticks out there and all of them ended up being useless because after a few hours my dog's breath would still smell the same but these dental sticks are different. After I started using this for my dog his bad breath finally went away and this is amazing how long it lasts. I give one of these to my dog (100 lb labrador) about once or twice a week and I never smell bad breath on him anymore. These are a bit expensive but worth every penny.
