Very disappointed with your shipper FedEx. We came home last night at 11 pm and noticed a blue box down the block by a stop ahead sign. I told my husband back up, that looks like a chewy box and it was our delivery. It had been sitting there in the snow for 6 hours. I’m surprised it wasn’t taken. I’ve never had any issues with deliveries before so I don’t know if FedEx is new. It said we had a gated driveway which is totally false. They didn’t even drive up the driveway. There are 3 mailboxes across from our driveway, at least they could have left it there then down the road. I tried issuing a complaint with FedEx but couldn’t find where to do that. Thought you may want to issue a complaint, I don’t want this to happen again with $100 bag of dog food. This sign is probably a football field away from our driveway and mailbox.

Buddy has always had a sensitive tummy and I have tried EVERY brand of dog food. As a baby he was fed Royal Canin and that's what was recommended we continue, but he refused to eat. He would go for days without touching his food and he was getting weak. After several weeks I finally began boiling chicken breasts, rice and adding green beans occasionally. No problem eating but his skin and fur began to look bad. His vet recommended taking him to a allergist. We followed all their suggestions but Buddy still would not eat dog food. We bought some of the most expensive dog food offered but it didn't matter. He is now 20 months old and he will finally eat the Royal Canin..... as long as I suppliment with chicken/fish/rice/and green beans. At least it has cut my food bill in half and I feel like he is getting the nutrition he needs from the Royal Canin because his coat looks great and his allergies seem to have gotten so much better.

Big kibble

The dogs like it and will readily eat it. I've had problems with them taking to other brands or continuing to like their food after a few bags. I hope they continue to like this one. We did notice how big the kibble are. My husband joked if they were for a great dane. It is an issue because it no longer hides in the crevices of their slow feeder and they eat faster. Though, that may be went they are so big, so that they only eat 1 at a time. I don't think it works bc my dog regurgitated all his dinner one night and most looked whole if not halved.

Our 2.5 year old male Golden Retriever has been having digestive issues that I figured must be from his food. I switched to Royal Canin Golden Retriever blend without gradually making the switch as his digestive issues were getting pretty bad without a hint of improvement using pre and probiotics as well as pro-pectalin. After his first meal on this kibble his stools have been 100% normal! It was pretty amazing. He’s been eating this kibble for 2 weeks now and no digestive issue has returned. So far so great!

I have questions

My 3 stars are not for Chewy. They are a wonderful outfit to me and my dogs. I did not buy this bag from them, either. I am writing this because I cannot get a reply

My 3 stars are not for Chewy. They are a wonderful outfit to me and my dogs. I did not buy this bag from them, either. I am writing this because I cannot get a reply from Royal Canin. Perhaps someone out there could answer this for me. My vets only sell the specific gut issue foods. I wonder about the price since they also make Pedigree. However, I recently got a bag of this for golden retrievers. Years ago, they made a huge kibble for St. Bernards that my different dogs at the time, just loved for treats. No longer available. I have tried for 8 yrs to contact this company to ask about Afghan Hounds. There doesn't seem to be anything available for this or similar breeds. My dog has a thyroid issue, a sensitive tummy. My guy loves this food and now thinks that I should just buy that. The one he got was a big kibble with a hole in the middle. Last I saw it was $150 for 28 lbs. I also have a golden doodle and a pit mix. They all liked it, of course. My budget does not. I would need 3 bags a month!

Out 3 year old with tummy issues seems to do great on this!

She was on the prescription Royal canin after refusing to eat the Purina prescription food and did well on that as well, when taking her off the prescription food

She was on the prescription Royal canin after refusing to eat the Purina prescription food and did well on that as well, when taking her off the prescription food we decided to keep her on the same brand as she was doing well and I wouldn’t change that decision!
