Great food but...

Our dog loves this food and does really well on it.. however, if we do not finish the ENTIRE bag within 3 weeks the remaining kibble goes "off" resulting in diarrhea

Our dog loves this food and does really well on it.. however, if we do not finish the ENTIRE bag within 3 weeks the remaining kibble goes "off" resulting in diarrhea. This has happened multiple times and we've needed to toss out about 1/4 - 1/3 of each bag. Although she is a standard bernedoodle she simply does not eat all that much! We will be noting the date it gets opened going forward.

Unfortunately my dog wouldnt eat it. Unsure exact reason but I think it was because it contained a large amount of oats so my dog didnt find that super appealing

This particular recipe is very good to try if your dog is fighting food allergies and nothing else seems to work. I have found that the food has to be fed with no other fresh protein sources. Even the high quality canned tuna fish can have chicken broth added into the liquid.....so you have to be careful. And alot of vitamin supplements have chicken flavoring which uses chicken fat even if it says it's immitation or natural. But this food by itself is very calming to my dogs skin issues. Her hair is growing back in and her skin is not red anymore....and has gone back to its normal white coloration. It is very good that this food not only does not contain chicken but also no peas which seem to be another allergen that is affecting alot of dogs. This is a good food to try and see if it will work on your dog if they are having food allergies.

My dog (pit/lab) was suffering from dry skin and fur loss like crazy. Which is weird since his coat is shorter. I decided to try out this product to see if it would help at all. Let's just say, his coat is shiny and soft, his skin is moisturized and fir loss is to a minimum. Highly recommend.
