I liked them, dogs didn't

I had high hopes for these treats but they just didnt work as I was hoping. To their credit, the treats were easy to use and very malleable for hiding the pills. They were a nice large treat and extra smelly in the way dogs love. My dogs were interested as soon as they smelled them. After giving both of my dogs a few practice treats with nothing inside, they just didn't want them. They each took their empty treats, spit them out and completely ignored them on the floor. I don't know why they didn't like them, I liked the way they would have hidden the pills, but my dogs just didn't want them.

Great product

I got these for my older dog as she would not just take a pill. She just loves these and thinks they are treats! Just make sure you select capsules or regular pockets. The regular pockets seemed too small for the pills my dog takes daily but the capsule size works fine. The hickory ones smell strong and my dog loves them. I think the smell covered up any lingering scent of the pill. She liked the chicken flavor also.

Strong Smell

Overall, the Greenies Pill Pockets are fantastic. I have tried many flavors with our dog, who is now on more meds than any human in our household, and he devours all of them. However, this one has the strongest smell of them all. That is the only reason I don't rate this one at 5 stars. It's like taking a big snort out of a liquid smoke bottle. If they could tone down the smell a bit, it would be fantastic. That said, our dog rates it 6 out of 5.

These are my 2 pups favorite flavors....

I have a very smart 10 year old husky & 11 year old GSD. These are the only thing I can use to get them to take any medication. They both love the hickory flavor. I've notice this flavor is alot easier to roll up in a ball so my 2 never spit the meds out.

Fits Cosequin

Can me smooshed over the extra large cosequin tablets, dog loves them, only request is that they somehow package them so you don't get one big glob of pockets and have to pull them apart. Admittedly it grosses me out having to reach in and pull them apart for some reason.

Great product to hide meds

Took off a star because these are more expensive than they should be, but these are the best pill pockets I've found and work better than hiding in cheese. My dogs love this flavor! The pill pockets are nice and soft, easy to squish around the pills.

Must have for my fur baby

This product is a must have for my pet. She's really finicky and really averse to medication. Pill Pockets are a must have. I've tried the other website that many of us use (starts with an "A" and is a large river in S America) and it's always hit or miss. Decided to try Chewy and their price was better! It was in stock! And, it showed up on time.

Wish I had found these sooner!

I've been giving my dog a pill twice a day for an injury and instead of spending time hiding it and then her finding it and spitting it out and repeating that sequence over and over, now I just put it in one of these and she loves them!

Great for giving meds!

These are great! I have to use them in order for Brody, our 92 lb. baby, to take his flea & tick meds. He doesn't like the taste or hardness of the meds, but when I cut them up and wrap in some of the pill pockets, he scoffs them up!

Thank goodness for these!

It is difficult to get my dogs to take any medication. Lincoln loves this flavor and swallows it whole with the capsul inside.
